Good day, Help yourself and your old school poems. I am already getting help elsewhere. Talking about professionalism and arrogance, you should try to read posts well before attempting to answer them, this simply shows how you fail exams or failed many times during learning coz you dont pay attention or simply think you know too much. My dear, life and learning are not processes to be completed, rather to be continued. good day and please dont start a fight here as I will take every insult you post here seriously and press severe charges on them.... Code project does not need people without proper behavior.

Its now obvious that you never had anything to contribute other than write some poem here. No one ever talked about clients email address exposure and I know the risk and consequences of not coding securely in order to secure clients data as well as emails. I work hard to keep the firms privacy policy. I have asked for something similar to craiglist, gumtree, jobsfromchina.com, etc and from the begining up till now I have made clear my efforts and progress so far. Go and become a professor and lecture high school students about safe and not safe and not me. Next time read posts well before commenting so that you dont insult people directly or indirectly. You did not read the thread starting from the title, and you started commenting right away. If my question is wrong, ask your self how and why did those websites like craiglist, gumtree and others do it safely. You must be an IT person that is not modern, that is why you sound like a history teacher. Good day.

Thanks, I am not emphasizing on safe or not safe. I just want to execute these tasks irrespective of what they seem like at the other end. Requirements varries according to the task.
Now that you have understand my tasks, make no attempt to make me change the task but rather do you have solution(s) for any of these aforesaid tasks? if yes, lets go straight to the point as I have been researching all day and stumbled upon an api from codeplex called openpop3 which may do the fetching of the emails into my message table. Lets work on solutions as that is what makes me or u satisfied to return to this forum someday.

I may be mis-understanding you, but you are not reading my post properly too. These emails are submitted to my database during post and replies. The replies must hit my tables first and later redirect, i.e. the hit my catch all inbox and fetched with a pop3 or imap tool into the email mapping table where I will now map them to their respective owners. I dont want to just inform them by mail and say "you have a new message, login to read it", I want to actually push their messages to them. I will suggest you sign up with craiglist or gumtree if you have never to fully understand how this works. Thanks for your wonderful time, its well appreciated.

You are talking about opt-in and opt-out privacy laws and I am asking for possible solution to solve a technical problem. We are going 2 different ways and even wasting more time. If read my posts serially and the comments, you will see that I have even taken the users privacy into consideration and that is why I need to implement a system that hides their email even when communicating with other people. rather they use my temporarily provided email to communicate for the purpose of my service only. What is so difficult to understand.
Please lets make every post on codeproject and every other forum meaningful and not just posts.

Thanks for your reply -SA, but the real email addresses are registered by them either by reply or post. I want to adhere to my privacy policy that makes it illegal for me to reveal their email addresses when posting or replying a post. and in order to do that i did the following:
1. Create a catchall mail box on my smtp server.
2. Catch all emails and save in that inbox.
3 I want to fetch the unread ones as the hit the inbox into the ms-sql message table that maps the message to the ideal recipient and still withholds the identity of the sender too (both ways). - I still need help.
4. If sending failure occurs, queues up for resend trial.
5. Run these procedures automatically as messages hits my catch all smtp inbox.
I believe its not rocket science as I already see this implementation in various websites. Please suggest more direct and realistic solutions...

I have created a table message with columns: Id, PostId, RealBuyerEmail, FakeBuyerEmail, RealSellerEmail, FakeSellerEmail, Subject, Body, Date.
I use GUID to generate the fake emails. for example a buyer email will be like "b." + GUID (the generated GUID) + "@mydomainname.com"
I just want a real help/insight about using a pop3/imap to fetch from my catch all email inbox to the tables and distribute with a stored procedure (with cursor) effectively without delays and provision for error handling and recovery.
In addition to my post, the real emails of the buyers and sellers are collected during reply or post respectively. I map the fake emails to their real emails in order to redirect the email to their real email addresses.
