Yes.. SAKryukov I agreed that the memory that is already allocated should be released. But I was asking the life time of that memory..

Suppose if the application terminates because of some runtime error, then will it release the memory that is already allocated(Dynamically)?

Yes Santhosh, if I use the following code it is working fine.
A *ptr;
B b(30,50);
ptr=(A*)&b;

But still my doubt is there. Why I am not able to assign the address of the class B to base class pointer like
A *ptr;
B b(30,50);
ptr=&b;

Could you explain..?

But why it is happening.? I can create the object of the derived class. No problem. But when I assign it to the base pointer it making problem. Strange..?

This will Work.. No doubt. Because we are attaching an event to the CheckBox in its Style(Xaml Code). We can access that check box only when you click on it Right..? But this is not My case. I have another button Lets Say _MyButton. On the Click event of this button I want to access the above mentioned CheckBox. Is it possible..?

Tarun, Actually I need the check Box in the Datagrid Header. So I wrote a style(As CheckBox) for the DataGridHeader[See My XAML code]. Now I want to access that checkBox in code. So how I can use the Property method instead of Style?. Please help...

Me too agreed on that. Try to bind the DataGrid with an item source. The item source can be List, ObservableCollection etc. Also add the "INotifyPropertyChanged" to your class. So that you can also handle the changes in the datagrid.

Thanks Perry Bruins for your reply. But Perry Bruins, we are defining only columns in Silverlight datagrid. We can make that columns as readonly no problem. But how it is possible in the case of only certain rows..??(Since we are binding Datagrid with some item source).

See I have a monitoring program called "Monitor" in C sharp. Suppose this monitoring program is running all the time, once you switch on the System. Now while launching an application(eg. IE), how this Monitor program get notified and how to access the class name of that application.

I am creating this fields dynamically. So first I will pass the binding details -- Lets say List<bindinginfo>. If I have One more DataGridTextColumn then I will set the DataGridTextColumn as

DataGridTextColumn newColumn = new DataGridTextColumn(); newColumn.Header = BindingInfo[i].Header;
newColumn.Binding = new Binding(BindingInfo[i].BindingField);

Ok....

But in the case of Rate Column(DataTemplate)

DataGridTemplateColumn column = new DataGridTemplateColumn();
column.Header = BindingInfo[i].Header;//But column.Binding is not there. So How I can set the binding for DataTemplate Column.

If we are dealing with huge data, then loading the entire data at a time will affect the performance.So I think in this case loading the required data On Demand is admissible.In this context the scenario which I mentioned earlier will come into picture.So here it will go for the second iteration before getting the result of the first iteration.

But Abhinav, we need to handle this kind of situations, for example in the case of treeView, if I write the code to load the children of a "Treeview node" in "OnTreeViewNodeExpand" event, then suppose I want to expand all the node, then before getting the children of the first TreeViewNode it will call for the next node's children.So the result won't come as we expect. Then how we can handle it...Please help..
