There are currently so many applications using RDP Protocol, Over the Internet, as well as local net. Teamviewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, Gbridge, Unless you have some ground breaking Addition you want to package with RDP I would develop a parallel app for those or move more towards Securing RDP Rather than making an App to use RDP. JMO! Not telling you what to program :) just pointing out that you simply may just be re-creating the wheel.
