Yes. In greek, they write like 1.000,00. In english, we use 1,000.00. This is the different.

Thank you SA. but in my text file, there are just numbers. in canada, we use 1,000.00, but in german, they use 1.000,00. totally different. Now I use System.IO.StreamReader oStream = new System.IO.StreamReader(this.m_sFileName);
to read that file, but I cannot even read the numbers in. How can I read that file? I mean for now, we put the encoding aside.

The first article is awsome. but I still did not get the answer, how to pass the chosen value to the main application? he just pass the value to installer itself.

Thank you very much! It is really helpful. I am just curious: I create a source file, named XXX.en-GB.resx. C# automatedly create a file named XXX.en-GB.designer.cs for me. If I add any name-value pairs in XXX.en-GB.resx, XXX.en-GB.designer.cs becomes blanked, nothing in it. But if I only change the name of the resource file to XXX.GB.resx, there are a lot code in the XXX.GB.designer.cs file. Why this can happen? Should I use prompt to include something? Or I just need to change the name?

Please tell me how to "get rid of all immediate constants (those hard-coded in your code)"? I just remove them to the resource file or remove them from the source code (somebody else write it)? Please.

I find. I start over everything, and find there is a .cs file. I do not know why the first time I create xxx.en-GB.resx this resource file, there is no a c# file. strange.

"it will be placed as a child node of the resource node."
I do it manually? Resource node is resource.resx or the Resource Folder in visual studio 2008? Thanks.

Localization is perfect. I can do them. But my new challenge is I can not fallback. because I am not using Assembly, I am using this way " Creating a file based resource manager which enables accessing and reading from a resource file from a location outside the assembly manifest". could you give me some tips? Or it is the same
