VB6 Application's String functions are not working.

I'm working on an old vb6 application and I can't run it because it gives me the error "can't find project library". I have windows 7 and I'm running VB6 in a virtual machine software. In the virtual machine I have XP service pack 3. Any ideas?

Abandon VB6 because it's crap ? Post some code to tell us what's not working ? Tell us what library it's looking for ? Explain why you think you have all the library the app uses ?

Well, they are not any fancy functions. They are simple string functions like Format, Right and Space. And they don't work.
