Running multiple instances when i m running the application

Hello Everyone

I m facing a problem during my development.
Multiple instances are running when i m running the application.

It does not allow me to debug the application.

I m a fresher in asp.net

Kindly help me out..!!

Which version of Visual Studio are you running?
How are you starting the application? - "Start without debugging" or "Start Debugging"?
What is the complete URL? -can you share.

Solution 1

open task manger by pressing ctrl+shift+esc. go to processes tab and find ur project name.right click webdevolpmentserver select end procee tree,and rebulid ur project
