How to count the no of days in a table

hi,
i am having a table headed with day 1 to 31. i need to get the count of the table using datatable concept.give me a suggestion to count those days.

First of all, this is a wrong approach, but you should know...
I understand that you have over 31 fields in the table, but what have you in the records? What exactly you want to count? Give us an example (with 4-5 "days" and some data in the records).

PS: if you use 31 fields, you will have to reference them one by one.

This is not a good question - we cannot work out from that little what you are trying to do.
