The question does not make a whole lot of sense, because you hardly can define the predicate "better", and because it all depends on the kind of animation and requirements...

The best tool which is required for animation is you. Other then you depending on animation type (2D and 3D) you have various applications.

The best is always on the other side of the keyboard....Software is just a tool.. You need to have the creativity to use the software.. Otherwise software is just another piece of rounded disk... BTW you can use Anime Studio 9.. Only if you can purchase it...

I'm not completely sure what you mean with "animating the movie". If you want to look into media composing and editing the way to go is probably Adobe Premier and maybe After Effects as well. If you are looking for a 3D animation software I would recommend 3ds max.

"POWER DIRECTOR" this s/w similar to movie maker but it has huge no of library template on official website for free...i learned selfly and i maked many presentaion like my cusion marrage video....etc .....
