New to asp.net, Can anyone help me with some good links

Hello

I am new to asp.net, want to learn it. dont know anything about connections, code and database creation in asp.net.

However, I know html code.

So can anyone please send me good links for beginners hot to start about.

For example, I want to start with login page. how to write the code and the connection to database etc.

From your profile,i don't think you are NEW to ASP.NET? After asking http://www.codeproject.com/script/Answers/MemberPosts.aspx?tab=questions&mid=10139813&pgnum=2 this many questions,you don't know how to make database connection and how to create login page?

I just seen the tags which OP has in his question and they're all VB.NET, and here he is asking for ASP.NET. I don't think anything wrong in it if he's switching to ASP.NET and asks for some links to learn.

If you go through the links provided by Prasad,you will get all you want. Further,what i meant to say is very straight forward, if he can find tutorials,why can't you? Try something first.If you ask a question,you should be ready to answer a question WHAT HAVE YOU TRIED? Always. That will also help you a lot.

All those which I had posted was for windows application, not for web application. If i knew,why will i simply post it here?

How you did coding before in VB.NET? Please mention what exactly you needed with what you already did so I or others can guide/answer you properly.
