please i designed a registration form on dreamweaver which contains a section where one has to attach his passport, how can i validate the passport section?

What do you mean by validate? Do you mean make sure something was inputed or make sure what they put in was legal information. For it to be legal information it wouldnt really be possible. If you want to validate checking if it is like, a full name not a name like George G when it should be George Gionnochio. Than use a little php or javascript validation.

At kind of file extension will the passport be?
