How to solve error in XML document(2, 2).

I am trying to update my service reference .
But i am getting the following error message

There is an Error in XML document(2,2)

What could be the possible error?
How to resolve this issue?

What I have tried:

I tried to delete and add the service reference ,but i am not able to delete the reference also and getting the same error message.

But the given solution is not my problem, all my classes are present but i am not able to update my service reference it gives the above error message while i update my service reference and my service is not updated.

Found out the problem.. was with svcinfo file..
