Glad you got it fixed...funny how that works though I always thought it was
"you can't get something for nothing" and here it turns out to be
"you can't get something before nothing". Learn something every day.
Thank y'all for all the hard work.

I just noticed that you can have the Reply and Add Comment areas open at the same time (I have only tested in Tips & Tricks).
A very minor glitch but surely it should only be possible for one to be open at a time? One for the bottom of the list

Hi everyone,
I recently saw that upvoting a own article works. I don't know if this is a intended behaviour, but the points for this looks like it is not.
After upvoting a own article, I got the following points:
Vote article up, Organiser, 1pt
Article Upvoted, Author, 10pt
This looks a bit schizophrenic
The article I voted was this: ASP.NET 4.0 Chart Control[^], perhaps this helps in finding the error.
Hope this helps.
Best regards and have a nice day,
Chris

There's nothing wrong with the points awarded. It's working as it should.

Hi John,
Thats correct, the points awarded are correct. The point is, that I was able to vote my own article. I don't know if this is right.
Have a nice Day,
Chris

That is correct, and it's by design.

I need you to go vote 5 on all of my articles and tips, just to make sure everything associated with the voting is okay.
EDIT =================
As usual, someone here has demonstrated that they have nothing identifiable as a sense of humor (or just down-vote my posts out of spite).

That would be way too much work, 95 Articles / Tips!!!

I think that's silly too; they could at least add an automatic self-5.

I don't know whether you noted my late message[^] or not, but i still got the same error even when i applied your solution. This time i got the error on another computer !

My only other thought here is that it's a load issue, occurring either during high load times or during site updates. However, we haven't done a site update (before today's 2 updates) for nearly a week, so it seems load is the issue.
You're the only one who has reported this recently. Keep me posted and maybe a trend will appear.

It's the weekend, I expect it is in the queue waiting for an editor.

It has to be approved by higher-rep users before the rest of the site is exposed to it.

I provided an answer to this question[^], however after posting it, I realized I had spelt a word wrong. I editted the answer to correct the single misspelled word. Along with the 10 points for authority, I now have another 2 points for editor. I thought the editting was based upon some percentage change. In this case I added one more character to the answer. Seems a bit to generous too me.

I'd also suggest not granting any edit points for modifying your own post within a minute or two of posting, if at all.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
