When you post a tip/trick, the Date Posted doesn't actually show the date until some time after it was posted. For instance, I posted one on Saturday, and today the date posted reads "2 days ago". I personally think this serves no beneficial purpose as opposed to just posting the date.
The reason I'm asking is that it makes scraping the data (specifically, the date posted) a bit more problematic because now I have to have two different parsing methods and the possibility of having to do date math.

1. for small timespans relative time is easier to humans than absolute time
2. easy scraping is not very relevant, those pages are for human consumption.
3. consistency; articles, forums, Q&A, T&T all should use the same.

For Tips n Tricks I think you're right: we should be showing absolute dates, no relative, since tips are less time sensitive than Q & A's.
You're just really trying to get me to finalise the API, aren't you?

I am not able to add comment to this[^] answer. This was reported before but we were able to add comments to the posts after sometime so it was not a considered a bug I guess. But it is happening again. 
Anyone facing same issue?

I am trying to track down why you are having issues with adding comments.
Were you having problems with your Internet connection at the time, such as very slow response.
Did you disable JavaScript?
Were you connected at a different location than normal?

No.

Internet speed was comparatively slower than the normal at that time. But then I could access every other page properly.

Can we get a darker border around them? I can hardly see the border, and the comments are starting to look like one great big giant blob of text.

Looks like deleted comments are not really deleted, I can see them in two different ways:
- While being logged in, go to a QA page where you deleted your own comment. It still shows the comment there with a remark "Publishing Status: Deleted". Why not remove it from the HTML output?
- While not being logged in, deleted comments are not visible on the QA page. However, go to your user's profile page and click on "Comments Posted" (example), you will be able to read all comments including deleted ones.
Sorry if this was posted previously, hope this feedback helps.

Thanks for bringing this up. What we're planning to do is hide it everywhere except on the My Comments page. We'll hide their initially/by default as well but allow an option to see deleted comments.

When I posted my recent Tip/Trick (see below), I saw the message "You can add new tags to the system...". So I entered some tags, one of them being "32-bit". I don't think this was accepted, because now when I try to search for 32-bit, the search filter flips back to the previous setting.
So how do I get a new tag accepted, so I can search for it?

That was a bug we very recently fixed. It'll be fixed on the live site when Chris uploads next.

When I posted my latest Tip/Trick, I entered three tags. When I now view the Tip, I see only two. Is that because the third tag was ignored, or because there isn't room to display it?
If the latter, don't you think there should be a "See all tags" button?

After re-tagging I pressed Enter key, while still being at the end of the 'Tags' input line. Each time pressed, a <b></b> is added to the end of the question.
