Is it possible to get the old newsletter version back?
I really do miss the sections and do not know what the pictures are for.

Hello,
The idea behind the new format is that we only want to give you the information you want and save you the time weeding out stuff you don't care about. You can customize the content you see in newsletters by setting keyword filters in your profile settings and this way you will only see the topics you are interested in without the other noise.
The idea behind images and the whole redesign in general was to get the look and feel of Code Project pages in newsletters. We may change the images to icons that will indicate weather the content item is an article, tip and trick, blog etc...
I will talk to Chris about offering the option of reverting back to the old layout.

The question says: "Is coding addictive?"
The explanation says: "I, personally, can give it up at any time I wanted to"
the explanation goes against the question...
Maybe rephrasing the note?

You had the phrase "Keep a running update of any changes or improvements you've made here." still in the article. That triggers the warning.
You also have a busted image. Can you please update?
[Edit: OK, I'm getting that error too even after cleaning up the article. Weird since no one's touched the code for that warning in ages, but I'll dig in tonight.]

I was using an Image from Google play directly. I removed the image and uploaded it locally. Rest of the images are all formatted to 640 width. Only one curtain image is of width 200, height 400. And I am still getting the error.

Found the issue: you also had the phrase "Did you learn anything interesting/fun/annoying while writing the code? Did you do anything particularly clever or wild or zany?"
I've removed that and it went through fine.

If in source view and you try and insert an image(by clicking the arrow on the file list on the left) it sort of breaks things and takes you off to some other page. 
Caught me out a couple of times.

Why don't we have the repository to store the ebooks (free) so that it will be very useful for the members to download and use them?

I suspect because it would get misused.
Unless you are the author / publisher of the ebook, it's pretty difficult to know absolutely that the person posting it has all the copyright and suchlike permissions required to distribute it, let alone give it away.
And let's face it: most of the ebooks available on the internet are pirate copies at best!
This is not a piracy site: just look at how hard we work to prevent plagiarism in the moderated areas. Adding a forum that is likely to be abused almost immediately, and the validation / moderation that would be required? I can't see the Hamsters going for it...
