In few of the reports I came across this while doing some maintenance work... beautiful isn't it ???
select ......
where
and F2TRDT >= " & Year(Parameters!DateFrom.Value)*10000+Month(Parameters!DateFrom.Value)*100+day(Parameters!DateFrom.Value) & "
and F2TRDT <= " & Year(Parameters!DateTo.Value)*10000+Month(Parameters!DateTo.Value)*100+day(Parameters!DateTo.Value) & "

Nice thinking!

Oh, I see your point: that guy was assuming a month could have upto 99 days, and a year upto 99 months, and thus was waisting many numbers, and his formula will soon hit the limits of an Int32.
He'd better do a
and F2TRDT >= " & Year(Parameters!DateFrom.Value)*372+Month(Parameters!DateFrom.Value)*31+day(Parameters!DateFrom.Value) & "
and F2TRDT <= " & Year(Parameters!DateTo.Value)*372+Month(Parameters!DateTo.Value)*31+day(Parameters!DateTo.Value) & "
which still waists some 6 or 7 days per year.

It is not about converting into integer number... The date needs to be in yyyyMMdd format.. The whole point is why not use Foramt() function...

Is that similar to the Format() function?

"// PSD is not my favourite file format."
This is so much shorter and summarises the preceding rant quite well.

The best bit is that the first executable statement after the rant has a comment saying 'Sanity check'. I think that that comment should have preceded the big comment.

There are some great ones in that list. I especially like Quote: //When I wrote this, only God and I understood what I was doing

The first one in that list is awesome.

I do not know that is it really weird or not!
It is a long time that I have this problem. The file name of my MP3 files change every nonspecific time but in a specific format. I mean the name of the artist will be add in the beginning of the file name.
For example it changes
13 Take Care (Feat. Drale)
into
Rihanna-Take Care (Feat. Drale)
I take care of storing my archive regular, so it's going to kill me.

uhm, what kind of virus would correctly name your mp3's for you? it looks like you have software automatically managing your mp3's. Like iTunes, WinAmp, etc.

I do not have; at least the software that you mentioned.

Would be a pretty friendly virus if it was cleaning up your file names - and only specific to audio files...
What software do you play your MP3's with? - I'd look to that in the short term.

Store a Justin Bieber mp3 without his name on it. That ought to kill whatever virus it is.

I suspect it automatically download extra information about your song (in the "\My Music" folders (i.e. Win7 library folders) and rename them like that

I have looked up media player's option and found this:
"Use media information to arrange files in folders on the disk" in "Options > Burn" tab and unchecked it.
Is that what you are talking about?
