I think you should order by countryName as suggested here[^].

You will need to provide a lot more information than the above if you expect an answer. Remember, no one can see your screen so we have no idea what is going on at the time you get the problem.

Are you using Visual Studio?
If so, use the mouse on your web project, and right click to add a folder, and call it App_Data.
You should see a gear in front of it when completed.
If you did it by hand, in windows, then you have to right click and include the folder in your project.

yes am using visual studio, i tried by that way but still it was disabled, and now i am using ado.net to connect to database.

I have dtEffectiveDate textbox and assigned postback event for _TextChanged.
Is it possible to do the same logic without postback event?
Private Sub dtEffectiveDate_TextChanged(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles dtEffectiveDate.TextChanged
If IsDate(dtEffectiveDate.Text) Then
If Session("myInsPlanConfiguration").Installment = True Then
If chkIgnoreEventDates.Checked = False Then
If String.IsNullOrEmpty(dtEvent1.Text) = True Then
dtEvent1.Text = DateAdd(DateInterval.Day, -8, CDate(dtEffectiveDate.Text))
End If
End If
End If
End If
End Sub

You would have to use javascript, the onclick event
Javascript can do everything but the session compare, you would have to store the session compare value in a hidden textbox, or generate the data using javascript.
so you add
<input type="text" onblur="myFunction();">
ad your javascript file
function myFunction() {
}
|
|
|
|
|
yes you can do this n javascript/Jquery. without doing postback.

Try to achieve your functionality with JavaScript/Jquery

Hey guys,
I got a strange issue with appsettings in my webconfig.
What im trying to do is to set open date and a close date for my application using the following code:
Web.config
<add key="VisitorApplicationOpenDate" value="#2012/10/01 00:00#"/>
<add key="VisitorApplicationCloseDate" value="#2013/05/23 23:59#"/>
Custom class
Public Shared VisitorApplicationOpenDate As DateTime = CDate(ConfigurationManager.AppSettings("VisitorApplicationOpenDate"))
Public Shared VisitorApplicationCloseDate As DateTime = CDate(ConfigurationManager.AppSettings("VisitorApplicationCloseDate"))
Public Shared VisitorApplicationsIsOpen As Boolean = (Now >= VisitorApplicationOpenDate) And (Now <= VisitorApplicationCloseDate)
I uses the VisitorApplicationsIsOpen in the application form to check if the application is open.
But the problem is, it works but not always.
For example the application should of opened this morning but it dit not, when I opened the web.config and saved the file without doing any changes, the application was opened. And it is not the first time it has happened.
Any Idea what the problem can be?

A shared/static field initializer will only run once, usually when the class is first accessed. If that happens when the current time is not within the range, then the field will be initialized to False .
Try changing the VisitorApplicationsIsOpen field to a property:
Public Shared Readonly Property VisitorApplicationsIsOpen As Boolean
Get
Return (Now >= VisitorApplicationOpenDate) And (Now <= VisitorApplicationCloseDate)
End Get
End Property

Dear Sir
In my application which is developped in VS 2010 there is a search page where the user input the search parameter and do a search operation. And the grid is populated with the search results. When user moves to the previous page through the default back button and agin comes back by the forward button present in the browser I lose all the data which was fetched. Could you please suggest me how can I hold those datas both in the grid and in the search fields. Please explain me by giving a valid example.
Thanks
Prashant

But I found that when I am coming back to the visiting page the page load event is not firing.Is it true?

I don't pass this information from one page to other page. I just want to get back the search results when press the back button.

OK. Even if you don't navigate to another page, the session variable will hold the data.
Maybe if you are getting to the page via a back button, the page_load event won't fire (I'm not sure), maybe the page is being drawn from the browser's cache.

Can anybody answer this question?
How can I get the search results through the back button
