The DB engine is actually doing a great job of protecting you. What are you going to do with 90,000+ records on a web page ? It would be impossible for someone to browse that much data.
Change your logic to retrieve "blocks" of data, say 100 records or so. You will need to break the data down into "pages" of data where the user could click on a control and retrieve the next grouping of data. For example you could provide a A through Z filter on the top of the page, the user clicks "M" and you would retrieve the first 100 people with the last name beginning with M. The "Next" button would then fetch the next 100 people with the name beginning with M and so on ...
90,000 records is way too much data to display in a single query.
Good luck.

Actually that table's name is Tblvisitor, I want to get some more info about my visitors so i display that data in web page (100/page) before it is about 50000 i can display them. but now it is about 100000 so i got error.
Yes, your idea is good, now i display only data from 80000 and hide data from 1 to 79999 so it is working again.
However thank you!!!
good luck.

I made a copy of our company website to a new server, planning to create a test environment. Both servers run IIS 6, and both are configured the same (except for where the configuration gives a server name.) All folders have the same permissions.
I cannot get the user authenticated.
As a last resort, I have this on a test login page:
Protected Sub LoginButton_Click(ByVal sender as Object, ByVal e as EventArgs)
If Membership.ValidateUser(MyUser, MyPassword) Then
FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(MyUser, False)
Response.Redirect("Login2.aspx")
Else
Feedback.Text="User not validated"
End If
End Sub
The second page has this code:
Protected Sub Page_PreRender(ByVal sender as Object, ByVal e as EventArgs)
If User.Identity.IsAuthenticated Then
Feedback.Text = "User was authenticated"
Else
If User.Identity.Name = "" Then
Feedback.Text = "No user found"
Else
Feedback.Text = "Not authenticated: " + User.Identity.Name
End If
End If
End Sub
When I run this on the live server, it acts as expected: clicking the button transfers to Login2.aspx , and the literal on the page shows User was authenticated. Running this on the test server will transfer the page (meaning that the user is being validated) but show No user found, meaning that the user was not authenticated and there was no valid identity.
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? I would rather not be mucking around with the live website that brands my company.

Did you also transfer the authentication database?

I didn't move the authentication database; both the old and new sites use the same connection string. The fact that Membership.ValidateUser is validating the user would seem to show that it is not a database problem.
Again, the issue seems to be that the authentication cookie for the test site is not being persisted.

On GridView SelectedIndexChanged event, use GridViewRow class to get the Selected Rows information !
protected void Mygrid_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
GridViewRow currentRows = Mygrid.SelectedRow;
}
From the currentRows, you can get the cell value !!
Hope this will help you !

Hi,
I've a java webservice and would like to invoke it in .Net application. For that I created a .Net console application and added the webservice in service references.
It was added successfully and created the object to invoke functions of webservice. But I'm able to access only variables, not methods of webservice. Had I missed anything? Please correct me to access the functions. Thanks in advance

It may be that the webservice doesn't expose any methods. Check the WSDL.

It has several methods. when I enter the webservice url in IE, it showing the list of methods.

when same byte converting to hexstring S2.EXE result is
FFD8FFE00104A4649460110010100FFDB0430C88A88CAAACCCE101C121010101022181A141C28222A28262226262C303E342C2E3A2E2626364A363A40424646462A344C524C44503E444642FFDB0431CCC10E1020121220422C262C4242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242424242FFC401F001511111100000000123456789ABFFC40B5100213324355440017D123041151221314161351617227114328191A182342B1C11552D1F024336272829A161718191A
y same byte result is different here?
actually S1.EXE hexstring is correct.but i dont know the code of that EXE.
in S2.EXE byte converting to hexstring as follows
Dim strTemp1 As New StringBuilder(Bytes.Length * 2)
For intIndex = offset To offset + count - 1
strTemp1.AppendFormat("{0:x2}", Bytes(intIndex))
Next
RaiseEvent LineReceived(Me, strTemp1.ToString)
what changes i need to do in this coding for getting same result like S1.EXE?
from my point of view i think,in S1.EXE they are adding 0 whereever hex string value is (0-F).ie.single charactr?Can anybdy help me

meenu s wrote: strTemp1.AppendFormat("{0:x2}", Bytes(intIndex))
it is the x2 that is relevant here: the x indicates hexadecimal number format, the 2 requests a minimum of 2 characters (padding with leading zeroes if necessary).
without the "2", you get your second result, which is useless.

Hi all
I am using vb script to open save dialog box in asp.net. This works fine in xp but it is not working in vista or windows 7 . I am using following code to execute the script
Sub savedialog()
set objDialog = CreateObject("SAFRCFileDlg.FileSave")
objDialog.FileName = "C:\Scripts\Script1.vbs"
objDialog.FileType = "VBScript Script"
intReturn = objDialog.OpenFileSaveDlg
if intReturn Then
Set objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Set objFile = objFSO.CreateTextFile(objDialog.FileName)
objFile.WriteLine Date
objFile.Close
else
Wscript.Quit
End if
End Sub
How i run it in windows vista or seven .

What are you trying to accomplish with this? This isn't necessary to save a file.
