Hi,
I have created menu using accordion and while click on the header the accordionpane should expand simultaniously with click event.
Code i have used:
<cc1:Accordion ID="Accordion1" runat="server" SuppressHeaderPostbacks="true" FadeTransitions="false"
FramesPerSecond="80" TransitionDuration="250">
<Panes>
<cc1:AccordionPane ID="AccordionPane3" runat="server">
<Header>
<ul>
<li id="li_Recom5" runat="server"><a href="#" onclick="document.getElementById('<%=Linkbutton1.ClientID%>').click()">Header</a></li></ul>
</Header>
<Content>
<ul>
<li id="li2" runat="server" style="display:none">
<asp:LinkButton ID="Linkbutton1" runat="server" OnClick="Linkbutton1_Click"></asp:LinkButton></li></ul>
</Content>
</cc1:AccordionPane>
</Panes>
</cc1:Accordion>
this code is working fine in IE but in Firefox, it shows error message as Function not defined.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried putting javascript: in front of the method call, or creating a simple method that you call instead ?

Of course it is....
It has to work, you just need to work out how. I'd simplify the task and add elements until I worked it all out.

I would recommend using a library such as JQuery[^] to help with the cross browser issues.

I have a dropdownlist within my editable gridview.The datasource of the gridview is a datatable method which accepts as a parameter the text of the lable of one of the columns in the gridview.I'm using the code below to try this task but it is not working.
protected void gvServices_DataBinding(object sender, GridViewRowEventArgs e)
{//gvServices is a gridview name
if (e.Row.RowType == DataControlRowType.DataRow)
{
DropDownList ddl = (DropDownList)e.Row.Cells[3].FindControl("DDLServType");
Label lbl = (Label)e.Row.Cells[2].FindControl("lblServiceName");
string servicename= lbl.Text;
ddl.DataSource = st.getServiceTypes(servicename);
ddl.DataBind();
}
}

Perhaps if you whip it harder, it will work more ?
If you want more meaningful help, you have to tell us
1 - what 'not working' means
2 - if you're sure this code is being called
3 - what happens as you step through the code in the debugger.

How to create a Folder browse control in asp.net like windows application.

not possible as we dont have that in HTML.
We can only have input type=file to have file browser.
Either use it or create custom browser plugin.
|
|
|
|
|
You can create a folder on server using
if(!Directory.Exists(path))
Directory.CreateDirectory(path);

You cant have direct connection to the database from javascript. You make request using AJAX to a page, which will save the data for you in the server.

It's as if you have absolutely no idea about web development at all. I suggest you buy a good book and read it.

Write some code. No, first think about how your code has to work, then write some code. You're going to look for top level nodes, create them, look for the children of those nodes, create those, etc. When you've written actual code, when you've tried to do your own work, the code you post here, if you need to, will tell us the things we need to know in order to try to help you.

Hi,
How to add a splash screen in asp.net?
I want it to be visible until my page loads.Is there any way?
|
|
|
|
|
*sigh* how is it that so many people have no idea about web development ?
It's the internet, there's a reason that no website I've ever seen has a splash screen. It can't be done. Oh, you could AJAX something if you wanted, but it would be a waste of time.

Hi all,
I googled a lot and found that to display images from database we need to fetch it from DB and
Convert it to Byte[] and then pass it to Response.BinaryWrite() method.
But this is not working for me.
Can anyone please help me wid this?
Thanks & Regards,
Pramod
