Try with this code.
After populating the grid, this is what I did in a similar situation:
for (int i = 0; i < this.dataGridView1.Rows.Count; i++)
{
this.dataGridView1.AutoResizeRow(i);
}

And? What exactly is the problem? Do you perhaps mean that you want somebody else to give you the code? If so - hop on over to rentacoder, CP isn't about writing your applications for you.
BTW - please don't put your email address in posts. That's a very good way to get spammed. If I want to email you directly, then I'll use the email button on the bottom of your post.

Hi all,
can any please tell me how to find difference between two dates in a web application using Vb.net.
I used
diff1 = (CDate(day2).Subtract(CDate(day1)).TotalHours)
Label11.Text = diff2 & "hrs"
diff3 = (CDate(day3).Subtract(CDate(day2)).TotalHours)
Label12.Text = diff3 & "hrs"
Its working fine in the Local system without any conversion problems,but in a intranet its showing error
Conversion from string "13/04/2006 4:11:50 PM" to type 'Date' is not valid.
please give me suggestions
Thanks in Advance

Hi
I would suggest looking at the date settings on the server, make sure that its set to the same date format as you are wanting to use.
As an aside take a look at the DateDiff function
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/b5xbyt6f(VS.80).aspx[^]
Which will provide a much simpler implementation of your code.

Hi Sandeep.......
I am sorry for asking the same thing
actually i wanted top reduce the access time.

You said that you are using database only for storing USername and Password so it should not take much more time ..................
How are you storing the UserName in application not in Database
nilesh how much time it is taking now (as you want to reduce it )
VB Script aur javascript client side run hoty hai .......... Not Possible
Don't know by using Ajax you can do that ot not
Thanks and Regards

Dear Developers
I'm reading and showing RSS in a Datalist. But I'm unsure how to get values from attributes having colon( : ). Like http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car.rss[^] uses colon( : ) in field "cfi:lastdownloadtime".
When I use DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "title") in datalist, it give an error. Any idea how to access this attribute???

Hi,
I have an object tag as below.
<object id="basket" name="basket" classid="http:/public/bin/SmartControls.dll#Mycompany.SmartControls.DocumentDownload" height="0" width="0" viewastext="">
<param name="Protocol" value="<%= GetContextProtocol() %>" />
<param name="Domain" value="<%= GetContextDomain() %>" />
<param name="DocumentRetrievalURL" value="showDoc/Research.dox?docIDs=" />
And from the javascript I am calling a method present in this dll as below
function SmartClientDownload(XmlString)
{
var err = "";
try {
alert("basket = " + document.all("basket"));
basket.Context= XmlString;
basket.Download();
}
catch(e){
err="There was an error on this page.\n";
err+="Error description: "+e.description+"\n";
alert(err);
}
}
Here I get an error Object doesn't support this property or method.
Sometimes it work sometimes it fails, Let me know if you have faced this issue.
Thanks and Regards
Irsh
