Can any one tell me how to compare today date
(exactly with min also)
with the client input date.
You know, some times lack of description can redirect you in different place than what you exactly want. You shuld ask the question properly in first time like as you asked me second time, because both the question having two different meaning.
While asking a question, Please read the question as a third person perpective, because they are going to answer you.
Good luck !!

I want to create a portal in asp.net as a part of my BE engineering project.
I am in the initial stages of documentation.
One of the modules creating personalized pages for each member with blog facility, personal details and photo gallery. A blog will be created for each user in the portal and they can post articles and stuff on their blog and other members can view their profile and the blog....
I wanna information on that on which asp.net technology can be used and whether it is possible or not.. I am sure it can be done but just need information on the same.
Please let me know....
Thanks

i have already checked that .
its a source code for creating a blog.
i wanna know if i can create a blog for each user in my site.
As in when a user registers in the portal. A blog should be created in his account automatically. ie a personalized blog for each member.

Oh.. I got your point.
You can have a look into following .NET Open Source Blogging Project
BlogEngine.NET
See the list of Features,

dear all,
i tried to display a falsh object in my asp .net page. but it does not work. what is the correct way for this. can i use addRotator for this...

This has nothing to do with ASP.NET. Use object[^] HTML element to embed objects to a page.

Use template column and put another data grid inside that. Handle the row binding event, find the inner data grid and bind it.

Hi this is the scenario:
The users of my site can get a link with a refer code (query string) to promote their products on their blogs or sites.
I want to track those codes so if a order is created I can give points to refer users as a kind of omission.
The problem is before visitor creates an order he/she needs to log in or even register to the site.
So I'm looking for a way to trap that code once the visitor enter to my site and don't loose it when he\she log in with a new session .
I was thinking to store that code in the session or profile but it will change once the visitor logs in.
In brief I need to capture a refer query string value once the visitor came to mi site, store it and if he/she log in and create an order I can know whow refer him/her.
I'm using asp.net 3.5.
I'm going to try some things but I would like to know if you can suggest me something.
Thanks

1 - You get a request with the code in URL as query string.
2 - Keep that in a session.
3 - When user logs in, check this session's value. If session has value, take the code and proceed.

I didn't understood this. How come a value stored in session changes when user logs in?

Hello
I have an ImageMap created using YDreams ImageMapDemo 2.0. I'm using this control for the rollover image effect with circle and polygons hotspots. My issue is I can't seem to figure out how to write the correct C# code for each hotspot. I am able to get one hotspot to have the rollover effect but not the other 4. Can someone please help me out with the code behind. I am very very new with C#. Anyone's help would be much appreciated. Been banging my head for 2 months.
Thanks in advanced
Dale

erm... if you're so new to C# ( there is no such thing as C+ ), why are you taking on this task ?
Odds are that most people don't even know the product you're using. Don't they have a support forum ?

YDreams does have a support forum for this control but it is on this site and no one seems to look at it. I found YDreams Imagemap 2.0 on the Code Project website( Here )and was hoping someone has used this control and if they could help me out with the issue I'm having.

It's unlikely. But, if the article is orphaned, then perhaps it's your best bet. I would be looking for something else to use, or googling to see if it's also posted elsewhere and supported there.
