That's way overkill. The control can be set to not postback at ALL, and he doesn't need it to contact the server, so why does he need AJAX ?

Sometimes, you need to have actual ideas, and write actual code yourself.

Obviously, you have to write some codes by yourself to implement that. A general solution is:
1) A table in your DB stores the email and password of all members.
2) A form in your website has three fields: email, old password and new password.
3) After the member submits the form, you will match the email in your DB and accordingly change his password.
4) At last, you need to send a mail to the member to notify his password change.
Notes: If a member forget his password and the stored format of the password is 'SHA1', he will need to answer some extra questions for security to get a newly initializing password provided by your system.

The stored password have in 'SHA1' format. But I try to develop forgot password section like facebook and tagged social networks. At the last part of this section a member have to enter his/her email and new password. How Can I change the stored password based on email and new password using any method? Please Help me.

No, it's really not. I assume this is a paid job, homework is rarely 'urgent', or rather, it wouldn't set a task like this, because it;s not trivial and pointless.
You should read a few basic ASP.NET books before taking on any paid work.
The text can't be changed. You'd have to create your own modal popup to do that.

how to creat own modal pop up then
|

Well, you'd basically create a form which acted as your yes/no form, or you could use a floating DIV, I guess. Either way, I would use google, it's a common enough task that there's no point in reinventing the wheel, and I get the feeling you're not going to respond well to anything less than full source code anyhow

hi frns,
I have a button, on the click of which the whole page is getting refreshed. I am using it only to make a div display as 'block' or 'none'. Is there any other way than using AJAX to stop refreshing the whole page?

Then why are you using server side button. or why are you doing it in server side. Do the job in Client Side. You can easily do it using javascript only.

I am taking a snapshot of a computer and storing it on a web server i.e. it has URL
In the ASP.net/Ajax web page i added a updated panel, timer, and image field. in every 3 seconds i want my image to be refreshed based on the new screen shot i took.
That doesn't work since the response is always getting me the image from the hard disc (temp folder). Here is a list of what i tried and also didn't work
1. Cache control
2. expiring
3. drawing image on asp.net (couldn't find it). I was trying to generate the image dynamically by drawing it every 3 seconds.
4. adding a query for example "http://0.0.0.0/bla.jpg?p="+new date;
5. the meta refresh tag
for 4 and 5 i get continues flickering and my temp folder size increase and i don't want that
If you can help solve this problem you really will help all of the people facing this problem because i searched a lot and couldn't do it.
Thank you
