Addint to the player list is pbm for me

I am not sure of how to add songs to real player list. What I thought that you just want to get the records selected through checkboxes in datagrid.

My dear friend,
I am not using any AJAX features. What is the alternative idea without using AJAX?

As Navaneeth mentioned in the post before, you could try to use JavaScript. Just follow the link he provided.
|
|
|
|
|
function checkkey1()
{
if((window.event.keyCode>=33 && window.event.keyCode<=47)||
(window.event.keyCode>=58 && window.event.keyCode<=190))
{
window.event.keyCode=0;
}
}
Use keypress event as onkeypress="checkkey1();"
The above code works perfectly in IE

Hi, I am using the forms authentication with users and roles. Iam configuring the web.config files in all the necessary folders together with the global.asax file. These are working fine. the problem is that the Context.User value becomes null when i navigate from the users folder to the administration folder. Any one has a suggestion on why this is happening please and how can it be tackled? thanks

Hi Experts,
I would like to know if there's any way I can write a session instead of using
NavigateUrl="~/ReportView/CentralReportPoint.aspx?Report=audBUnit">
instead of passing values like this can i write a session like session("report") instead? Cause of security reasons I would like to store it as a session instead of displaying for users to see
Thanks in advance Cheers~

Ohhh.... Sorry... I want to mean Use Query String Encryption

Yes. Change the hyperlink button to a LinkButton. Create session["report"] in it's click event and redirect to ~/ReportView/CentralReportPoint.aspx . In this page, read the value from session.

Thanks for the replies =) I got that just when you replied!
Now I've got another bug in the website which I don't know how to approach this. I loaded into the page then when i click logout i am supposed to change the session to "0" with the logout button code below.
But when I manually enter my link back to CentralReportPoint.aspx, I get the report that I loaded previously before i Logged out. Is there any way to solve this?
Protected Sub btnLogOut_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnLogOut.Click
Login1.UserName = ""
Session("username") = ""
Session("login") = "0"
Session("status") = "0"
Session("report") = "0"
FormsAuthentication.SignOut()
Login1_Authenticate(Login1, New AuthenticateEventArgs())
'Response.Redirect("Default.aspx")
End Sub
At my CentralReportPoint.aspx I also check if the session is valid if not it will transfer back to the default.aspx but it doesnt seem to do so when i manually enter the address after. If I were to try entering the address before i initialise a login at start, It transfers me back to the default page but not when i log out
If (Session("report") = "0") Then
Response.Redirect("../Default.aspx")
Else
Dim report As New ReportDocument
report.Load(Server.MapPath("../Report/" & Session("report").ToString() & ".rpt"))
report.SetDatabaseLogon("AGIREADWRITE", "password")
CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = report
End If

This will be from the browser cache. Have you pressed Ctrl + F5 and is it showing still?
saberbladez wrote: Session("username") = ""

Session("report") = "0"
If you no longer need this, call Session.Abandon instead of setting some magic numbers to it.
saberbladez wrote: If (Session("report") = "0") Then
This is dangerous as your session may return NULL and you will get NullReferenceException . Do a NULL checking before you use the session.

Yep did it above =) this is part of the code but still with that problem and instead of showing the login object it is showing the logout button after i enter the ReportCentralPoint.aspx I can't see where's the bug.
Tried Calling Session.Abandon() but it doesnt help
hmm how do I remove the cache if it is stored?
If you can add me on MSN, it will be easier =D Thanks ! saberbladez@hotmail.com

If I close the webbrowser and re-run it again it is working again. But if I did not close it will load the report. Is there any way to not cache the Report?

I don't know. All I can say is the way you used sessions is bad. Read this[^] for few of the best practices.
I am sorry, I don't use IM.

without using session values..u can encrypt ur KEY and pass that as a query string...

How to add a background image for div tag in server side code..
|
|
|
|
|
Make sure that the tag has an id and runat="server". Then you can set the style from code behind:
IdOfTheDiv.Attributes("style") = "background:url(images/someimage.gif);"
Despite everything, the person most likely to be fooling you next is yourself.
|
|
|
|
|
Attribute has been used like a method....
|
|
|
|
|
In C# it should be like
IdOfTheDiv.Attributes["style"] = "background:url(images/someimage.gif);"
|
|
|
|
|
idofdiv.Style.Add("background","Image Path");
