when you want to set value in textbox,make textbox readonly property as false so value would be set and after that again you can set readonly property as true

Asynchron Process

In a web project i get some data from database. I intend to keep data in Session. i called the function asynchronously. but i wantto interrupt asynchron call and i wantto get data which is get untill i interrupted, How could i do?

You're using AJAX ? You'd have to make multiple AJAX calls until you got all the data, which means a lot of syncronising code in the javascript.

Authentication/Session Problem

I have this login page that when a user is authenticated s/he should be directed to the main page.The problem is that only Mozilla Firefox actually takes the user to that main page.Internet explorer always take the user back to the login page even when the user is a valid user.I just don't know what or why it is so.

I don't think this is the browser problem. Could you please debug and check whether it is going to the main page only if the login credentials are correct?

If the credential is not correct it will display a message telling you that you are not a valid user.If it is correct it is supposed to take you to the next page but it does not if you are using IE but if you are using firefox it will take you to the next page.But it works fine in the server using IE but it does not work fine from the client's system.

Then it may be problem with the settings of the browser in client machine. Check whether the settings in the Security & Advanced tabs of Tools-->Options of IE in server is same as with client.

Majority have the same setting.It is an app that run with more than 3,000 users.The puzzle here is why is it not having the problem with Mozilla Firefox?And you know almost everybody uses IE.
Any help will be appreciated.

If it is working fine in the server using IE, it can be assumed that there is no issues in source code. Probably some firewall settings in the client system is prohibiting from proceeding to next page. Also check whether the IE explorer in the server and client has the same version .

How is it that it is not affecting firefox?The IE cannot be the same since this is supposed to running on about 3000 client systems.
I disabled firewall and still nothing.

Hi im using ajax calendar control in my asp textbox...,

After that textbox one dropdownlist box is there...,

When i am clicking the textbox the calendar control appear...,

But downside dropdown is appear before the calendar control...,

How i can visible my calendar properly...,

Any plz help me regarding that...,

And in that source place for asp control how u will mention syle = z-index...,

I didnt get any style mothod there...,
anyway if i give it in my td place also

its not working...,

I know style tag will not appear for server control but you can give it.it will support at runtime.

Ya i given eventhough its not properly display..,

see actually what i am asking the calendar display under textbox its ok...,

After that dropdown also there...,

so if i click the textbox the calendar is appearing the same place but the dropdown is hiding the some dates of calendar control...,

i want to solve this

You can also take dropdownlist control upper on textbox.
