I have a drop down list in the *.aspx page
On the *.cs page , I have populated the dropdownlist(using droplist.items.add("name");)
I want to display the contents of my list in ascending order ..
Please help

Hi,
There is no additional sorting property like datagrid...you have to write a code to sort drop down list...suppose you are binding dropdown from database,you can use orderby property..

dear arpit, you first create a data table & item on it. then sort it by creating default view & after that set datascource property of your dropdown list to your default view.

Hi! in my aspx page there is a table ...
in second row, there is a button, clicking on that a javascript function is called with aprropiate parameter. the javascript function is below ...

now script is working fine in IE & Mozilla. but problem is that in Mozilla, all the TDs in upper row are displayed in new line while in IE all the TDs in upper row are displayed in single row. how i solved this problem in Mozilla?

This will Happen and differ from Browser. So please write a Another CSS file for the Mozilla Browser and Call that class also as the optional one ie., if the browser opens in Mozilla that class should be called otherwise the Default class of css should be called if it is opened in IE or safari.

Hi,
In my page I have a textbox and a link besides it. Also one DIV is there in which I have put a usercontrol and DIV is not visible at start and I have not made it runat="server". UserControl contains one search button and a textbox.
on the click on link I am making DIV visible by using javascript. when it appears users can do search by clicking on the Search button in the usercontrol.
The problem is when user click on the search button to perform search the DIV disappears. I want DIV to be visible even after any server side event fires.
Can any one suggest me workaround this or any new idea to implement this functionality?
The following is the HTML and javascript which I have written to make the div visible.

I am trying to insert my COM Component into the toolbox of ASP.NET page using choose Items... but it is not embeddeding into the toolbox. sometimes it is visible in the tool box but in DISABLEd state.
How can I put my com component into the toolbox and make it Enable?
