Hi
lately, i got a problem with iis, when i try to start iis, i go this mesage :
Attempting start...
Start attempt failed.
IIS Admin Service or a service dependent on IIS Admin is
kely failed to start, which may mean that it's disabled.
when i go to service to start 'iis admin service' manually, i got this error :

Could not start the IIS Admin Service service on Local Computer.
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

i have win 2003 server
1. i checked metabase.xml and MBSchema.xml file (copy from previous backup) but did not solved my problem.
2. i right-click on (%windir%\registration) folder and go to Properties > Security and found this users :
3. i log on to this machine as domain admin
Administrators : Does not have full permisson, Only Special Permissons has been checked
Everyone : Does not have full permisson, Only Special Permissons has been checked
SYSTEM : Does not have full permisson, Only Special Permissons has been checked
plz help me to workaround this problem.

Hi,
In my connection string if i give Server name it will not work, But if i give with servername\SQLEXPRESS it will work. But this connection string i can't use in class as it giving an error for this. Please help me.

Are we meant to guess what error? Why can't you use it, it's a valid name.

My Connection string is
"Database=QD ;Server=BHUKRK83981D\SQLEXPRESS; Integrated Security = true;Connect Timeout=2000;"
But it is giving an error as Unrecorganized escape sequence.

You need to escape it for the slash, like this:
@"Database=QD ;Server=BHUKRK83981D\SQLEXPRESS; Integrated Security = true;Connect Timeout=2000;"
Or just double it up:
"Database=QD ;Server=BHUKRK83981D\\SQLEXPRESS; Integrated Security = true;Connect Timeout=2000;"

Basic C# error - you need to escape the \, its nothing wrong with the connection string.

Yes,
just create new "class library" project
Ex. "ClassLibrary1"
implement your classes and build it.
Now go to your web site and add reference of that class by
Add References,browse tab page-browse where you create your class.
Add dll of your class project which created in bin->debug folder
Now you can use class
Ex. ClassLibrary1.classname

Hi,
I am creating a web site which is utilizing the .Net Membership provider with SQL server to store each users logon information. I have customized the create user wizard to obtain extra information i need from the user.
My issue is that i am not sure what is the best method of using the automatically generated UserId as a foreign key in my other tables which belong to the relational database system i have designed.
I also need to store the extra information obtained from the customized fields in the create user wizard in my relational database system.
Any advice or pointers will be much appreciated!

I have a similar scenario
Just create another table either in the same db or in another db
Once the user is created with the createuserwizard and all the other fields are filled, insert a new row in your table

when i m going to click button first its going to page load .. and only debug into button click event .. so now i want after finish debug is there any posible to again into pageload.

so first start debug in pageload and its debuging into button event right .. after the debuging going to finished page..
