Hello Anubhava,
I have written same application for Nokia S60 in Python S60 language, this application code is responsible to swap sms in your desired path; it doesn't support phone number block functionality. Using this code you can take an idea about how you can develop such kind of functionality in your targeted mobile platforms.
Here is Python S60 Scipt[^]
Hope it'll helps you lot.

Hi All,
As a .Net Developer, I am often wondering which direction mobile computing will go. Don't get me wrong - I love Microsoft's .Net Framework, it has made me the developer I am today, but over the last few years, I couldn't help but peek into mobile development, to be quite clear: 'IOS PROGRAMMING'.
After many months of debating, as to whether or not I should get a Macintosh Computer- I finally did it!! I now own my first macbook. I've installed both xcode 3 and xcode 4, along with Monotouch Evaluation Version, and Mono Develop. I created my first 'Hello World' App a few days ago, and felt ecstatic.
Now, the question I have for .net developers out there, is: IS ANYONE ELSE BOTHERING WITH MONOTOUCH? If so, give me a shout, let me know how its working out, and if not, please do share why...
Thanks everybody!

Hi all
I am researching about WP7 programming, but i have a problem: How to create database in Windows Phone 7 apps? So, can you tutorial about it, please? Thank very much

Go for sqlite, it's cross platform and big in iPhone world. Just spend a bit of time re-architecting anything COREDATA spits out (or should that be ZCOREDATA).
Install Sqlite Data Provider for .NET and find a database admin tool. I use SQLite Meastro because I can manage Foreign Keys which none of the freebies supported. Foreign Key support will make a big difference if using Entity Framework.

It's not Windows *Mobile* 7, it's Windows *Phone* 7. Windows Mobile 7 was a product that never made it to the public.
Just zoom into the web page to the area that you want to be your tumbnail, open the menu at the bottom, and select "Pin to start." You cannot programmatically do this. The only way your web app could be pined to a user's home page is if she chooses to do so herself.

Hi Ahmadmou,
Please see below connection string.
String strConnectionString = "\\Program Files\\Simple\\simple.sdf";
SQL Server Compact 3.5 is a small footprint in-process database engine that allows developers to build robust applications for Windows Desktops and Mobile Devices. This download contains the CAB files and DLL’s that are used to install SQL Server Compact 3.5 on the Windows Mobile Devices platform

You need to sell it on the Windows Phone Marketplace. Most phone users don't visit this forum.
Visit App Hub for more details.

How can i do that? Please help me!!!

Use the SetSystemPowerState API.
SetSystemPowerState( L"Suspend", 0, 0 );
SetSystemPowerState( _T( "On" ), 0, 0 );

I want to show images and capture the cursor position according to coordinates / pixel image not coordinates screen,,
approximately how??
please
|
|
|
|
|
The mouse events pass you a MouseEventArgs (or derived) object to your handler delegate. MouseEventArgs has a GetPosition() method that will give you the coordinates relative to the UIElement of your choice.
For showing images I would start with the Image class.

hi all,
i m creating a html file in my application.
is there any classes in Cocoa for simple file encryption/decryption? I just need something I can point at a file on disk and do simple encryption without a password or key and then decode it later. Doesn't have to be fancy or even all that secure - just something simple and easy to use.
please help me for this.
if possible please provide me any example.

I have developed a C# app that uses compact .NET and runs on Windows Mobile. Unfortunately, I seem to be the only person on planet earth still running a Windows Mobile phone.
So my question is if you wanted to develop an app to run on most of the popular mobile devices about, what language and IDE would you use?
I note that Android uses Java and iPhone uses Objective C. I have also found something by Novell (I think) called Mono that is some sort of emulator that runs .NET on Androids. So with Mono maybe C#.NET is the answer.
It seems to me that some means of platform independence here would be highly desirable
