I am working on a project where I want to enable the user to upload multiple files or a folder and compress it before receiving on my server.
Problems:
1. How to enable folder upload.
2. How to enable file compression at user end.
I am well aware with java javascript AJAX html5 css3 servlet jsp etc.
PS. I know file compression and encryption with java.

On the client-side you require to be using JavaScript based solution, in order to perform these actions.
- Folder would require to be in a form of a file, compressed file (.zip for instance).
- File compression APIs can be used to perform these tasks in JavaScript. JavaScript has no built-in approach.
Secondly, if you want to go for it. You can write your own library if you know any algorithm for file compression. Here are a few that I found on Google after searching for "js based file compression api":

I need help to format this part of code
<table border="0" cellspacing="{$theme['borderwidth']}" cellpadding="{$theme['tablespace']}" class="tborder">

to get facebook like button add to look like this, on site

Instead of this (right now this weird formating on site blocking that style from first photo)

I got it to work once, but now I'm totaly losted... Since I'm not so much familiar with XML.
P.S. When I made it to work, it worked only in Opera and Chrome, but not in Firefox...

This is not XML, it is HTML. Secondly, you haven't even written the code for Facebook's like button. One thing that I can is, use the HTML content provided by Facebook, embed that like button in your website if you are novice to these programming skills. Do not go into the depths, or you may waste the UI/UX guidelines.
EnjoY_Y wrote: P.S. When I made it to work, it worked only in Opera and Chrome, but not in Firefox... That is because since a while now, Opera uses Chrome's engine and what works in Chrome (approximately) works in Opera too. Firefox is a different beast.
Go here and get the like button's HTML code, use the embedding mechanism on your website, and you're done!

I'm still stuck on this. I need to figure out how to host a SignlaR app.
There are plenty of examples of "self hosting" out there, but they're mostly console apps running on the development machine for the purpose of demonstrating SignalR.
I need to host this on a server, preferably in IIS.
Anyone got any experience or know of any help towards this?
Thanks.

I don't see how. It doesn't discuss hosting at all

Are you not seeing the same page that I am?
Setup
Go to NuGet and install the SignalR package into a WebApplication:
Install-Package Microsoft.AspNet.SignalR
Server
Create a class that derives from PersistentConnection:
using System.Threading.Tasks;
using Microsoft.AspNet.SignalR;
public class MyConnection : PersistentConnection
{
protected override Task OnReceived(IRequest request, string connectionId, string data)
{
return Connection.Broadcast(data);
}
}
Setup Routing
Make a route for your connection:
Global.asax
using System;
using System.Web.Routing;
public class Global : System.Web.HttpApplication
{
protected void Application_Start(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
RouteTable.Routes.MapConnection<MyConnection>("echo", "/echo");
}
}
If you are setting up other routes, the SignalR mapping needs to be done before the other ones.
If you follow that, then you should end up with your SignalR code hosted in IIS. Was that not what you were asking?

I already have all of that code.
Where in there does it discuss HOW to host it in IIS?

The part I quoted is the instructions for hosting in IIS.
Create a web application project. Follow the instructions from that page. Deploy the application. Your code is now hosted.

I've been through all that before. I get no response from the server. Even trying to navigate to the url in IE returns a 404.
I just found this[^]
Maybe I'll give this a try.

Hi,
Why I am getting above error for below code?
It was working fine when I use the PHP class only but started giving this error when I am calling the class from another PHP page.
How to fix it please?

}
else

Hi,
I am using PHP and I am trying to validate IP address to check if valid IPv4, IPv6 or invalid.
but when I am connected to localhost I am getting IP address as ::1
it says:
::1 is a valid IPv6 address
How can I fix it please?
$ip = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
if (!filter_var($ip, FILTER_VALIDATE_IP, FILTER_FLAG_IPV6) === false)
{
echo("<br><br>" . "$ip is a valid IPv6 address");
}
else if (!filter_var($ip, FILTER_VALIDATE_IP, FILTER_FLAG_IPV4) === false)
{
echo("<br><br>" . "$ip is not valid IPv4 address");
}
else
{
echo("<br><br>" . "invalid address");
}
Thanks,

I have the following code
<div id="OSOrgSelection" runat="server">
<div style="float: left; width: 55%; vertical-align:middle;">
<asp:Label ID="OSOrgName" runat="server"></asp:Label>
</div>
<div style="float: left; width: 10%;">
<asp:Label ID="OSPayDate" runat="server"></asp:Label>
</div>
<div style="float: left; width: 15%;">
<asp:Label ID="OSStatus" runat="server"></asp:Label>
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 12%;">
<asp:ImageButton ID="OSPayrollExceptions" runat="server" /><asp:ImageButton ID="OSViewException" runat="server" /><asp:ImageButton ID="OSEmployeeExceptions" runat="server" />
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 8%;">
<asp:Button ID="OSOrgSelect" runat="server" />
</div>
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 29%;">
</div>
The OSOrgSelection div has the following applied to it. orgselectionshade if even row orgselectionnoshade for odd
.orgselectionshade {
width: 65%;
background-color: #EFEEEE;
align-items:center;
height: 26px;
display:flex;
float:left;
}
.orgselectionnoshade {
width: 65%;
align-items:center;
height: 26px;
display:flex;
float:left;
}
I am tring to get the ImageButtons and the Button to be right aligned while the rest is left aligned but to no avail. Everything is left aligned.
If someone can explain what I am doing wrong would very much appreciate it.

We have developed a SSO(an Identity Provider) with SAML 2.0. I just wanna know whether Sitefinity gives support for SAML protocols ?Can we have or build a SAML SP from sitefinity?
Suggestion on this will be very helpful for us.

Search for SAML within the Google results. The second one, for example, includes a specific question and answer about SAML 2.0.

Sitefinity does not handle SAML out of the box. There are a few ways to handle it though: customizing the STS project to handle SAML, or use an external STS integration (see https:

I have an htaccess in my rootfolder containing a directive blocking txt files:
<Files ~ "\.(txt)$">
Order allow,deny
Deny from all
</Files>
this works.
Now I want to allow access to txt files on certain subfolders only, so they recommended me to add an htaccess files on that subfolder. Which I did and it contains:
<Files ~ "\.txt$">
Order Deny,Allow
Allow from all
</Files>
But the txt files are still blocked (403 Forbidden).
Any ideas? I tried FilesMatch I omitted the ~ I reversed the deny/allow order, put it inside the tag and outside, I tried the 2.4 syntax (Require ...) which apparently was not supported by the SSO agent we have to use. In short, nothing seems to work.
Anyone any idea? I'm guessing it is something really, really stupid like a space or character that is wrong (though checked and tried that too)
thanks.
