Having the same issue, tried removing the automatically-added id before the file name in the url as someone suggested but still have the same issue.

I think the automatically-added id might be an article id. I haven't made any changes to the auto generated image links.. but later appeared right.

I have an article to publish. the content is in the proper word document. So I wanted to ask which makes sense or easy to do, Open the wizard and transfer the content from doc or send out the word document by email.

Don't send the word doc. You're just going to end up causing the editors to have to do a lot of unnecessary work, stripping out the Word crud.

Gotcha... So here I come to the wizard

Yesterday, I've submitted my article update for aproval, but still it was not approved.

You're talking about "Implementing AI Evolutionary binary distribution algorithm for solving the numeric approximation problem", right?
It's still in the moderation queue and needs more approvals. It looks like you've resubmitted it just few minutes ago so any approvals that were given for example yesterday are rest. Each time an article is sent to a queue, approvals start from zero.
Be patient, it'll come through

Thanks. But can you tell me when it's going to be approved ?

I can't. If I recall correctly when an article gets 10 approvals it will pass. Approvals come from other authors so it depends very much on the activity of the site. For example on weekends approval process may take longer.

Arthur V. Ratz wrote: The previous updates approvals were very quick. And I'd like to know the reason why it's too long now. What's the reason for the approval delay. Approvals are done by the community (members with high enough reputation), so it depends on how they feel spending their time. During weekends the queue piles up regularly because most members have something else on their schedule

Thanks a lot for your answer, I'll be waiting for the article approval.

As said, it's impossible to estimate when the article is given all 10 approvals.

Your guess is as good as mine. It's Monday, morning time in Europe, mainly night time un US/Canada region and so on...
However, as I explained, every time you resubmit the article, approval counter is reset and approvals start from 0. So in other words if you constantly make changes to the article the chances are that getting it through takes longer.

Thanks a lot, I will be patient to wait for the approval. Thanks.

I got some embed code from a youtube video and vimeo video. so that's an iframe. And I think codeproject html output encodes the article.. so the iframes are not rendered but rather just printed as on the article. yeah I could understand the security implications of embedding iframes and third party content, but considering all our articles are moderated and reviewed by community leaders... my best guess is this is allowed, I am just hitting the wrong corners.

Browsed around the Q&A and FAQ section, couldn't find anythinng helpful.
I am writing an article rather than explaining some portions in text, I thought I could link one of my videos from youtube or vimeo. Is this allowed in codeproject? If embedding content via iframe is not supported, is there any other way I could imbed/insert a youtube video on my article?
Below is how my embed code looks:
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/somevideo" width="420"></iframe>
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="281" mozallowfullscreen="" src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/somevideo" webkitallowfullscreen="" width="500"></iframe>

Hi,
To Embed the Youtube Video you can request to Editor of CP or you can request to @sean-ewington who is the Content Manager for CP by sending your you tube video link and your article Link. They will embed your youtube video to your article after checking it.Since to avoid the Spam video in Cp the author can not embed any video directly .If we requst to editor they will check for the Youtube video and add for us in our article.
Note and also if you need to edit your article in later case again you need to get there support to embed your video for everytime. There is also another way as you can add your Youtube Video link to your aricle by this you can maintain the article by yourself.

I can definitely do this for you, but bear in mind once we go that route, you can no longer update your article yourself, it will break every time. The other (and better option in my opinion) is to simply leave a link to the YouTube video in the article, but let me know what you'd prefer.
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

Thank you guys. I think I'd go with just leaving a link. After a couple of days from the posting of the article, when I find there's no more edits that may be needed, I'd contact Sean.

Today, I've received notification from Deeksha Shenoy but I could not read it. It simply disappeared. Where can I find that notification text ?
