With the Help of ur WFC Lib. we tried to interact with Tape Drive for Getting Header Info., Catalogging, and BackupRead....
but we failed in the first phase itself...(Getting Header Info..)
The method OPEN in CMIRCOSOFTTAPE fails to read the info.
Could u help us to overcome this problem.
Any Sample code, ideas and Suggestions would be welcome...

I would like to control the mouse and mouse klicks from my program.
I also would like to know if it would be possible to
simulate the keyboard from my program, so that the program
could enter text in other programs.

I am hoping someone has some information on how I can implement a combo box that selects a folder just like at the top of the Common File Open Dialog. My problem is that I want to generate a custom File Open Dialog and I can do most of the same things as the Common dialog does, except the folder combo box has escaped my ability to define.
I use Dundas Ultimate ToolKit and there is already support for a Combo drop down container. They have a Shell folder tree, but its behaviours are not desirable for this type of control, so I need some examples of how to create the folder picker tree with the same behavious as in the common dialog.

Take a look at "Programming Windows with MFC" by Jeff Prosise (MSPRESS). It has an example of how to do that with a ComboBoxEx control.

Looking for MFC class for handling PhtoShop files. There is only file format desc. in PhotoShop SDK, but I haven't found any really useful sample. I've seen some programs which can display PSDs quite correctly but as I found all of them using some Delphi graphics library, there are no libraries for MFC/C++? (ImageMagick also have only basic support for PSD, I've found no C code for text layers). Any ideas?

this will read and write the composited PSD images. it does not handle layers. it's been a while since i've looked, but i don't think the PS SDK describes the format of PS layers in enough detail to be able to write any kind of reader/writer for them. i could be wrong...

There's an article on DHCP enhancements in windows 2000 available at:

DHCP is one of those protocols that seems to have garnered less interest than it should from the UNIX crowd - not too many versions ship with a DHCP daemon, at least as part of the default config. It might be interesting to write a DHCP client for a unix box.

Simple. Don't use a CListCtrl. Use Chris Maunder's CGridCtrl and sub-class one of the cells as a CProgressCtrl.
