I assume you mean you want to program a microcontroller in C#. If so, bad luck unless Microsoft (or a 3rd party) plan releasing a JIT compiler for the device. Even if they did, garbage collection and small devices with limited memory don’t really mix. I’m afraid if you plan to program microcontrollers C or C++ or assembly is the way to go.

Not like me to request an article since CP is overflowing with everything from barcode readers to ant colonies. But could somebody please either write an article or point me towards something which relates to supporting multiple monitors in C/C++.
I have found only one article on CP which relates to creating a screensaver to span multiple monitors, but after reading the comments I think I should read further on the subject. I am looking for information in the following areas:
1. The GDI, Bitmaps and DC's over multiple screens ( the display settings ).
2. Font's and window sizes, and how they would be effected.
3. Different layouts/setups of 2 or more monitors.
4. Anything which may affect a skinned window being moved from 1 sreen to the other.
Not having a multi-monitor setup myself, it is a little difficult to learn this through trial and error. But I believe correctly supporting multiple screens is a must in todays programing world.

I shall have to cross that bridge when I come to it. I'm sure a few friends wouldn't mind lending me a monitor and a PCI card for a few hours which would be more than enough to run a few tests.

If you use scrnsave.lib from the PSDK, your screen saver's window will automagically cover all monitors. Check out my screen saver article[^] for an example. Note that my sample isn't perfect on multimon, if you have 2 monitors with different resolutions (like I do now), some of the graphics will be drawn outside of the smaller monitor's rectangle. I really should update that thing one of these days, since the web service it uses is long gone...

i need to build an web based application
this application will take care of public grievances
objective -> this application will provide a platform to the poor and underdeveloped people ( others will also use it) to raise there problems
we will forward there problems to the specific ministry / officer
now the current objectives are
1) to mail / inform the respective officer (that will be done online and by posting a letter also)
2) to track the problem when submitted to the appropriate officer
3) to forward the problem to the higher hierarchy officer if not solved within given time
4) publish the few most efficient officers and also few most inefficient officers
now the problems time
1) if i provide them with a separate e mail id the project will be over budgeted
(around 70-80 thousand officers)
can you give any example of the alternative solution /or idea
** any minister/ officer should not be able to view others data
** data should be more secure because it will force some people to do their job properly so there will be more people against us
2) to ensure that the request made is a genuine one and no fake user should enter
what we thought till now that we will ask for a scanned copy of there id proofs
other suggestions are well come
3) we are expecting more traffic so what measure should we take in our coding to avoid deadlocks
4)the complaints received manually (via letters) will be feed in the site as well
what would be the best way to do that
* providing the interface on website itself
* providing the interface which will be directly connected to the database
* providing an interface which will store data with it and update it on other server after some time
this project is approved by government of India
this project is a nonprofit one and all members working in it wont be paid
the other expenses will be matched by government
i didn't have a big team (only two of us are programmers)
please help me in this project
* it will be my first project which i need to design any tips will be heplful

For the first problem, I propose TWO solutions. First costly solution is to go for Microsoft Active Directory, which is a focal point for manageability, security and interoperability. Second simple solution is 'Data Segregation' logic. This design implementation restricts the user to view the given data; not to view all together.
* Entity Segregation – Restricting view of data entities.
* Field Segregation – Restricting view of data elements.

hi,
you can easily develop reports using the wizard which comes as you start crystal reports (i.e. using the report expert ).It ask ..
1.type of expert (choose standard here )
2.database (select your database from the window)
3.links , columns etc.
go on as per your requirement and step asked.
still if problem persist do post the problem .
