I have no idea I'm afraid. I opened up the article in the editor, the images were there and I resubmitted the article - all seemed to be good then.

Does anyone think that it could be an added benefit to make it possible to collaborate in writing articles? Something that will be like a combination between Wikipedia and Code Project?
That can be useful in generic topics or articles about the best practice of implementing something.

The ratings starts there are a bit misleading. Anybody seeing it would think the rating is given to the hardware and not to the article.

Yes I know it's the rating for the Article. Or anybody using CP would know this fact.
But anybody searching for the Samsung Series 7 notebook, landing here would only think the rating is for the hardware they can't think it's for the Article. Because that's how the eyes are trained to read a hardware review. If these reviews are only for the CP users, I agree this do not mislead.

I found the root cause.
Base on Pete O'Hanlon's idea in [AppInnovation Entry - Problem in publishing], we must remove all Boilerplate text to avoid this issue.

Hi, I've updated my article, but it didn't appeared in the Latest Updates. I thought the (U) meant updated. Or does it require some number of votes, or popularity, or something? I'm puzzled  . Can someone explain me this mysterious inner workings of the Code Project?

I believe you are talking about this: A Complex - Yet Quite Intelligible - Pathfinding in C#[^]
I saw it in the moderation queue Friday afternoon (US Pacific time). It does look like something is wrong since the "Updated date" on the article page currently says 18 Aug, 2013.
CodeProject was down for a few minutes Friday afternoon, so perhaps the hamsters got confused.
Looking at the revision history[^], the "Updated date" should say 24 Aug, 2013.
Hopefully this will alert the CodeProject staff to take a look at it and make sure the posted article has all the latest updates.

Could be a few things, first let's rule out some stuff.
First, did the update stick? Everything look OK?
Second, what date was the update on?
Third, how much did you update? Did you leave the "mark as updated" box checked?

24-Aug-13 1:00 - editor later corrected the grammatical errors (thanks again Deeksha  )

I did update the sources (download file), and quite a lot of article (1/3 or 1/4). Here: Difference between version 3 and 4 [^]

Thanks very much for your query. In order to keep our newsletter lean, we have set a requirement of three minimum votes on an article before it appears in the newsletter.
