Hi WhiteSky,
Thanks for your reply
I am doing the app in MFC and as well handling OnPaint method
i just able to see that when i draw the line and when i minimize the application and maximize the line drawn disappers
so what i should do??
or do you have any sample code for same.
Knock out "T" from CAN'T
You 'CAN' if you think you 'CAN'

...OnPaint()
{
CPaintDC dc(this);
dc.MoveTo(0,0);
dc.LineTo(100,100);

Dear A_Laxman,
I suggestion for you(It's possible not good)
you draw all lines and save this shapes in the graphic file
then use this file in the one Button CStatic(Bitmap)
Now if you change window this shapes is fix
with this way you can delete WM_PAINT
Have a nice day

Hi.
If let a window always hide, hook which message?
Thanks.

Do you mean, How do I hide a window? Sorry but your question does not make sense to me.
Why is common sense not common?

The WM_SHOWWINDOW message is sent to a window when the window is about to be hidden or shown.
Knock out "T" from CAN'T
You 'CAN' if you think you 'CAN'

Not need hook WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGING (SetWindowPos)?
|
|
|
|

Not sure why you are asking to hook anything but:
ShowWindow(hwnd, SW_HIDE)

Isn't my window, and i don't know what time it show.

Ok then a hook is in order. You can use a WH_CALLWNDPROC hook but its operation depends on how much information you know about the window you are trying to hook. Usually you need to know the title of the window, but the name of the application may be all you need.

Hi,
I have just discovered that it appears to be 10 times more complicated to deploy a VS 2005 app than one from VS 2003.
Now the docs say I have to worry about manifests, shared assemblies, isolated assemblies, and private assemblies.
What is the simplest way to deploy an MFC 8.0 app ?? It doesn't need to share any dlls with any other app, it's not COM, and there is no managed code in it.

If it's statically linked to the MFC libraries then you only have to distribute the exe. If it's dynamically linked to MFC then you have to distribute the MFC libraries with it.
Why is common sense not common?

return nCode<0 ? CallNextHookEx(hh,nCode,wParam,lParam):0;
thats the only line for GetMsgProc (WH_GETMESSAGE).
And it blocks language switching... neither ALT+SHIFT nor mouse switching
works
Why ????
|
|
|
|
|
This is the general parrern I use for my hook procedures:
LRESULT CALLBACK CBTProc(int nCode, WPARAM wParam, LPARAM lParam)
{
LRESULT res = CallNextHookEx(g_hHook, nCode, wParam, lParam);
return res;
}</code>
You should always call the next hook in the hook chain unless you want to stop other hooks from processing the event - I suspect the language switching is implemented as a hook and you're not giving it a chance to process the event.

I fixed it.
The problem was not in HOOKS
my dll had one SHARED section named ".hdata", i renamed it and now it works!
But why it did not work with ".hdata" ???

I am developing a directshow filter to add effect to a song. I want to add the effect like this that at the beginning, the volume goes up gradually to normal, till the end, the volume decrease gradually to zero. I know the structure of the filter, but I am not familiar with audio control. Thanks for any information about implementation of the audio volume control.

Hi there,
I am new in Socket programming and I need to develop a code to be able to connect to two different places and exchange information (send a packet to one location and gets back the answer and again sends that packet answers to two different locations through socket and one of these location is supposed to store information).
Could ay one guide me in this? I appreciate any ideas.
Regards,
Nahitan
