Hi all,
I'm trying to retrieve the event ID of a specific event. Currently I'm using the following code:

AnsiString msg;
msg = msg.sprintf("Event ID: 0x%08X ",pevlr->EventID);
...
This is the output:
Event ID: 0x20000001
The Event ID in the event viewer is 1, so ..... how to get the correct format ??
From 0x20000001 to 1

Maybe just look at the lower 16 bits.

I assume that he wanted to say the he wants to mention his skills in his resume, and along with it, wants to mention that he worked on those projects as part of his hobby to increase his skills. If this is the case, then I don't think its bad.

You said you wanted a project to add to your resume. A resume is a document that lists your achievements to a potential employer.
