Use dependency Walker to get the support DLL names.. (DEPENDS.EXE)
For Release EXE, no Debug DLL needed....

I know dependency walker, it's how I realize my problem in the 1st place.
But I would like my automated tool to check it for me in case I forget or don't bother verify manually all my DLLs...

In my code i have created a splitter window in which i have first created 1 row and three column and then i have again splitted the secon column into 2 rows and 1 column
I am able to get the viewtype of I and III column but i am unable to get the viewtype of the middlecolumn(II and III) which is a nested window
By viewtype handler i mean this
CFileListView* CMainFrame::GetLeftPane()
{ CWnd* pWnd = m_wndSplitter.GetPane(0,0);
CFileListView* pView = DYNAMIC_DOWNCAST(CFileListView, pWnd);
return pView;
}
Please experts help me out i acnt move forward until and unless i solve this problem

According to this article: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-US/library/ms235342.aspx
The manifest can be embedded in the binary, and therefore the external XML manifest is not necessary. I don't want to ship with the external XML manifest file, so embedding the manifest in binary is what I want.
I know how to check if the manifest is embedded in the binary, my question is: How do I MAKE SURE VS2005 embed the manifest in the binary. Does VS 2005 embed the manifest in the binary by default? Each build it generates an external XML manifest file, but the manifest is also embeded in the binary.
Also, in the Configuration properties -> Linker -> Manifest File, there is an option called "Allow Isolation", what does it do?
Thanks

Hello,
I am trying to develop an addin for Visual studio 6.0(msdev.exe).
I am using DevStudio Add in Wizard for it.
It provided me default code for handling application events and debugger events.
But my objective is to handle copy,cut,paste ,print commands in editor.These command are not the part of IApplication events or IDebugger events.
Could anybody please help me in
finding the best possible solution for this.
As per my understanding Cut,Copy,Paste methods are part of ITextselection interface ,which i try to implement in my class,but unable to handle those events as there is no proper event passing.
Thanks and regards,
Ruhina.

gethostname()
Somethings seem HARD to do, until we know how to do it.
