Are you sure? On my system (VS 2003) It doesn't work. Moreover (excerpt from MSDN):
"With one exception, defining symbols and constants with this option has the same effect as using a #define preprocessor directive at the beginning of your source file. If you use /D, quotes on the command line will be stripped whereas they are retained in a #define statement."
If the Lord God Almighty had consulted me before embarking upon the Creation, I would have recommended something simpler.

HI
I HANE A PROBLEM IN CONNECTION OF MYSQL TO VC++(MFC)
LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file "C:\Program.obj"
Error executing link.exe.
PLEASE GIVE ME A HINT
THANKS
hi

NO NEED TO SHOUT !
and isn't the error message descriptive enough ?
the linker says he doesn't find the file C:\Program.obj...
does your compiler really generate this file ?
don't you have a problem of path name ?
see both your compiler and linker settings to find which one is badly configurated

How did you know the gender of his linker?

What is this program.obj file ? Do you have a file that is called program.cpp (or .c) in your project ? It is strange that it is located in the root directory... Can you provide more informations about this file ?
It has probably nothing to do with mysql, you are probably doing something wrong with the settings.

Ok: you are wrong.
BTW, your errors are probably due to the fact that your compiler thinks you are shouting at him. See, your keyboard seems to be broken (caps lock doesn't work properly). And compilers are vexed easily.

hello . I wrote one program white some toolbar . I can change the language of them. But now itn't update automatically . I have to close the toolbar and open it again to change the language . I want to know how can i update it automatically.

Call RedrawWindow() on the toolbar window. If that doesn't work, you may have to destroy the toolbar window and re-create it.

certainly not... you're on a forum, not on a chat. if you can't explain, then why some would help you ?
you don't even provide information about what is striking you...
come on guy, grow up, and rephrase your question

That's simple, just write 100 classes that inherits from each other, and you have a lot of inheritance.

If you posted a clear question, it would have been much much easier for us to help you. Asking somebody to write a complete program for you doesn't work very well (remember that all the people here are not paid for what they do). So if you want help, post what you already did and ask a concrete question. So, where are you stuck exactly ?

hey wait !!! you say you are already working on a project, which go live date is planned, and you don't know anything to C++ ?! WTF !!!
man, go prepare gallons of coffee, you gonna spend nights to read book to get up to date...
for my part, i cannot help more than that :
class CMyClass : public CAnotherClass {
};
|
|
|
|
|
come on! i know that much!! just dont know how to implement the stuff...i mean..i think that inheritance is really easy but the teacher was like the program should be really complex and stuff...so i was wondering whats so difficult abt it...and i cant figure out what to do...
and if u cant give me a code then suggest a topic on which i should start thinking at least
