Well it works using an IP address (on a local compauter), but still not over a network ... lol

maybe there's a network config issue, firewall, etc. no idea why it wouldn't work.

So in your opinion would a Symantec Gateway, cause the problem?

it could, if its blocking the traffic being used by pipes. you could try disabling it.

Hi!

I found a lot informations about toolbars here (http://www.codeproject.com/docking/).
But I'm really looking for an answer to this question:
Is it possible to add MFC-Toolbars to embedded Containers other than the Main-Application Window?
Example: VS.Net (7.1) - there nearly every Container (like "Properties", or "Class View") has its own Toolbar. Could this be made with MFC - Methods?

Hope this was understandable ... I'm still not really into this MFC-Library.

MFC is a class library encapsulating various parts of the Win32 OS API and in some cases adding pre-built feature or functionality. Since it is for C/C++ you can easily access the OS APIs whenever needed. So ....

i need to find out if there are any memory leaks in it.

Are there any opensource or free (not evaluation versions) tools that identify the whether there are any memory leaks and if so where are they

Pl kindly help me out in this issue

you mean, only the project, of the generated bin (exe or DLL) ?

if you mean the project, rename the corresponding file. otherwise, look into the project settings.

I have developed a databse application using vc6 and database is MS Access 97 . Now for reports we have got two options either we can use Crystal Report or we can go for MS Access reports . If someone could please help me to decide which one would be a better option and could suggest some tutorials for crystal reports cos i am a newibie

See FindFirstFile() & FindNext() for get files and folders.and see CTreeFileCtrl & CSortedArray v1.06[^] and WTL CFileTreeCtrl class[^] and File tree control allowing to select multiple files and folders[^]

i 'm fresher in vc++.
i am making a module there are some problem occure.

1.How can i split the window in two part.

2. how can i open a dirctoty listing such as appear in window.
e.g we click the browse buuton and conent of drive appear

3.and how cna i find the current path.

4. how can i set the default path

5.What f() is used for search a file or diredtory.

i would be very thankful.

Hell, why don't we just wipe the CP server and hand the space over to MSDN? Sure they coudl use it to hold allllll of those answers.

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
