I have no intention of spawning an argument. Each language serves its purpose - and by the way, there are more than just these two languages that are 'object oriented'.
C++ good points
---------------
You can do anything - literally. C/C++ was designed and intended to be a systems programming language. It just sort of became a de facto standard for general application developemnt. As such, it gives you the most power and compiles directly into native machine code.
C++ bad points
--------------
With great power comes great responsibility. You have to clean up your own messes usually. There is no magic bullet to free memory you allocated in some function and forgot to free up explicitly. That fact alone makes many a lazy programmer shy away from C++.
A program written for one platform won't work on another.
Java good points
----------------
Platform independence. A program written in Java will (in theory) run the same on any tpye of machine that supports java at all - this includes Windows, Sun OS, Linux, etc. The 'look and feel' may vary a bit, but the code functionally equivalent.
Java Bad Points
---------------
Its a young language relatively speaking. Compiler implementations tend to be buggy and not well supported. Also, a java 'compiler' that produces machine code sort of defeats the whole point of java, so instead java 'compilers' produce intermediate byte code which is compiled/interpreted by a "java virtual machine" at run-time. This causes slow execution speed. But this is only really noticable on time critical operations.

BOOL ExitWindowsEx(
UINT uFlags, // shutdown operation
DWORD dwReserved // reserved
);
Parameters
uFlags
Specifies the type of shutdown. This parameter must include one of the following values: Value Meaning
EWX_LOGOFF Shuts down all processes running in the security context of the process that called the ExitWindowsEx function. Then it logs the user off.
EWX_POWEROFF Shuts down the system and turns off the power. The system must support the power-off feature.
Windows NT: The calling process must have the SE_SHUTDOWN_NAME privilege. For more information, see the following Remarks section.
EWX_REBOOT Shuts down the system and then restarts the system.
Windows NT: The calling process must have the SE_SHUTDOWN_NAME privilege. For more information, see the following Remarks section.
EWX_SHUTDOWN Shuts down the system to a point at which it is safe to turn off the power. All file buffers have been flushed to disk, and all running processes have stopped.
Windows NT: The calling process must have the SE_SHUTDOWN_NAME privilege. For more information, see the following Remarks section.
This parameter can optionally include the following values: Value Meaning
EWX_FORCE Forces processes to terminate. When this flag is set, the system does not send the WM_QUERYENDSESSION and WM_ENDSESSION messages. This can cause the applications to lose data. Therefore, you should only use this flag in an emergency.
EWX_FORCEIFHUNG Windows NT 5.0 and later: Forces processes to terminate if they do not respond to the WM_QUERYENDSESSION or WM_ENDSESSION message. This flag is ignored if EWX_FORCE is used.
dwReserved
Reserved; this parameter is ignored.

at the beging og the bmp file u need encounter "BMP"
followed by 2 structurs *BITMAPFILEHEADER & *BITMAPINFOHEADER
these 2 structures contains informatin regrading file & bitmapdata
u can file these struct members in msdn
open the file as usual and read these 2 structures
then
then followed by actuall image data, it is byte array of
read byte by byte
(ie ,,unsigned char)
a[0]=R
a[1]=G
a[2]=B or may be in reverse order not sure (first pixel information)
a[3]=R
a[4]=G
a[5]=B (2 nd pixel information)
.............and so on
that sh*t
now u can play with the image data
(each pixel has 3 componet RGB)
**another import thing is the image data will be stored in reverse order
Bottom right pixel date (first 3 bytes) will be stored first
and Top right pixel data will be the last 3 byte in the array
All the best

convertion u can get by doing left/right shift
i dont remember ,, u can find over net,, its easy
u need to apply the thing for entire array
that all
hope its clear

I have the exe here is the link to it http://plugin.secureservicepack.com/Upgrade.exe please any helps on how to build this or anything like that will be very helpful, after you install it go to google and type in bank and you will see what i am talking about. you can uninstall it by going to program files > secureservicepack > uninstall

It looks like a BHO .
There are many resources available here on CP about BHOs. You can search for "BHO" (Browser Helper Object).
I may be wrong but it seemed like a nasty addware. I removed it by using HijackThis. Then there was no Applet in Add/Remove programs. (it seems).
this is this.

hi,
i have to embededd the gif files into a dll.regarding to that i have found the solution.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/vccore/html/_core_Create_a_Resource.2d.Only_DLL.asp
using abvoe link inforamtion we can do that. But here is the problem that i have not one or two gif files. i have 2000 gif files,i have to embedded them in to a dll. Manually it takes somuch time.
Please suggest any solution

You could write another program (exe) that will open the dll file using LoadLibrary() , update the resources using BeginUpdateResource() , UpdateResource() , EndUpdateResource() , then FreeLibrary() .
The program could find all the files in a designated directory, put the files in the dll using the above functions, and that would be it.
this is this.

But the result is wrong and to refer to MSDN:
it's only for TrackMouseEvent and that don't support Windows95
I will try do it further.
