Well, we have four issues
1 - you can't work out how to use the asp.net forum
2 - you don't know how webservices work ( they generate their own test pages )
3 - you can't read error messages or use intellisense
4 - you think we can fix your buggy code despite the fact that you didn't post it.
It all looks beyond redemption to me.

txt speak only makes you look more stupid.
If you want help, try reading the forum rules, posting in the right forum, perhaps even googling for information or doing some basic reading on the technologies you are using. Did you even notice that I told you the answer ? If you browse to your web service, it will return test pages so you can execute the web methods via a URL.

Your problem is that the method 'AddValue' does not take zero arguments. This is stated quite clearly in the error message you are receiving. Take a look at the AddValue method in your code or the documentation for it (if you didn't make it) and see what arguments it takes. Then double-click the error to find the line that is causing the error and make sure your call to AddValue is supplying all of the correct arguments.
Next time, as the other guy said, post in the right forum and clean up your grammar and you might get help faster.

Hello everybody
How to change a size of box on checkBox control?
thanks in advance
|
|
|
|
|
you would need to create your own control, or to make the control owner drawn and draw it yourself, perhaps.

Do you want to change the size of just the check box control? CheckBoxs have (I think) the AutoSize property set to true. This will mean you cannot actually resize it in the form designer. Set this to false in the property grid or in code and you should be able to resize it. However, this will not make the actual box change size, just the area the control covers and the text will change position. If you want to actually make the box bigger, you will have to do as the other poster said and draw the box yourself.

Hi,
you cannot store strings with a specific font in a sql server. A font is just a description how to display characters. What you want to achieve is that the sql server stores a specific encoding. So set the encoding of your sql database to the one used for your language (try to google this, I don't know which encoding supports your language). This should help.

Sebastian

Aajignesh, read the following carefully I think this will help you:
For example table name is Customer. Customer table have two coulmns (CustomerId & CustomerName). You want to store Gujarati Font in second column (CustomerName). Set the datatype of CustomerName column to nvarchar(50), Then make the query look like as below:
Insert into Customer (CustomerId, CustomerName) values ('1', N'Write Name in Gujarati Font')
Note: Don't Forget to install Gujarati Font on your operating system.
Incase of any confusion feel free to ask muhammadshahidfarooq@yahoo.com

N in insert query represent Unicode.
Q:Why we use Unicode?
A: Unicode can represent over 65,000 characters, it accommodates many languages whose characters are not represented in ANSI encoding. ANSI character encoding represents characters in one byte, it is limited to 256 characters.
For default input language, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl, and then click OK.
2. Click the Languages tab, and then click Details.
3. On the Settings tab, click Add.
4. Select the language that you want in the Input language list, and then click OK.
5. Select the language that you want in the Default input language list.
6. Click OK two times.

Haritha, use the following query this will help you:
Select sum(Amount) as Amount_Sum from Customer group by CustomerId
|
|
|
|
|
Either of these will work if using sql server
with temp (ReceiptNo, CustomerID, Amount)
as
(
SELECT ReceiptNo, CustomerID, Amount
FROM customer
group by ReceiptNo, CustomerID, Amount
)
select CustomerID, sum(Amount) from temp group by CustomerID
GO
SELECT ReceiptNo, CustomerID, Amount
INTO [#temp]
FROM customer
GROUP BY ReceiptNo, CustomerID, Amount
select CustomerID, sum(Amount) from #temp group by CustomerID
GO
drop table #temp
GO
