It didn't work cz there is nothing called e.KeyData and if i use e.KeyChar it gives me an error cz i can't compare an object of type char to an object of type key.
if you have any other solution please tell me. thanks.

You're obvioulsy overriding the KeyChar event, when you were just told to override the KeyDown event.
I'm not sure if the code you were given will work, but this will:
if (ea.Control && ea.KeyCode == Keys.A)
in the KEYDOWN event, NOT the KeyChar event.

You have to register to either KeyDown or KeyUp event.

If you want to use the Keys enumeration you must use the KeyCode Property of the KeyEventArgs.
The Object Browser documentation for the property is as follows:

In order to use this code you must first enable KeyPreview in the Form's property window. This code uses the e.Control property in the KeyEventArgs and the e.KeyCode property to determine the two keys that were pressed. You cannot get two keys out of the e.KeyCode method (at least that is what I am thinking right now).

Hi all,
i have created a application, which has a notify icon in the system tray.
I have also created a installer for this app.
Now when i install and execute the application, the icon is displayed in the system tray.
Now i keep the app running and UnInstall the app from the Add/Remove Programs.
The uninstall process displays a message to close the form. i close the form and continue the uninstall process.
The application is successfully uninstalled, but the icon from the system tray does not goes , and also the exe exists in the task manager.
Now if i click on the icon the form is displayed and the app runs perfectly,
even the app is uninstalled.
My question is how do i remove the exe from the taskmanager and also the icon from the system tray during the uninstall process.
I tried a solution, by creating a small console app which searches the app's exe from the process and kills the process.
I added this project in the Custom Actions Uninstall folder, but this is not working.
Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

Hi, I have A container and i want to disable the scroll that appears when the windows inside goes farther than the set dimensions. So i want to disable the scrolls so the windows inside can not go father that the dimensions set. Somebody told me to try to set the dock property but a container does not have that property.

you can set scrollbar property through properties of container where you can disable scroll bars.

There are a variety of ways. The rolls royce solution is to by the .NET builder (~$10k). This allows you to wrap your matlab code into a dll and call it natively in C#. Its a excellent product and I recommend it, if one has the money.
You can also call matlab thru COM, or you can write MEX files. Both of these alternatives are discussed in the help and user forums on the matlab site: www.mathworks.com. We've used both of these and while laboreous they do work.

I'm looking for classes/code that can produce ACH or NACHA transactions.
Ideally I would send the transaction details to the class, the class would produce the NACHA format transaction and then return the formatted transaction to me

hi,
i already read many articles about it but i dont get it:
i have a datagrid with two datatables. the 2. table has a foreign key colum (to the primary key colum of table 1). so i created and added the datarelation to the dataset.
what i want is that a datagrid shows the 1. table while the listbox shows the elements of the 2. table, where foreignkey = primary key of the selected datarow in the datagrid.
but the listbox only keeps showing all elements of table 2; when only showing data from one table the components keep in sync
so what else is needed for this task, or should i better fill the listbox manually?

Hi
First,Nodes count gets the number of nodes that a treeview or a node contains.Node index is the index of a node within a collection (first node ,second node and so on)
Second you can use the GetNodeAt method of a treeview to get the hitting node(It accepts a point or x and y )

I have an app that's trying to send email via Simple MAPI. When the default client is Oulook, the New Message window that comes up appears to lose focus. I am able to tab thru the varous controls on the message window, but I cannot set the focus to anything inside the window (New Message) with the mouse. Clicking on a different app and then coming back to the New Message window "fixes" the problem.
I'm passing 0 for the parent window handle. I've tried passing in the handle of the main application window, but it did not make a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is what my two MAPI calls look like:

Hi, I am creating a database, and on the first form I want a listbox displaying the names of all the tables, so when a user clicks on one and clicks the OK button, it will open another form showing the data in that table.
What I need to know is how to get the names of the tables in the database without hard coding it.
