move next record from the current record in dataview

i have dataset has been filled data
A dataview =dataset
and i RowFiltered the dataview and it has 10 records now i want to navigate between thes records

Hi

If there is not any button control on winform then forms key press event is fires But if we place button control on winform then focus directly goes to button and keypress event of the form does not get fired.What can be the reason. It can be easily replicated by just writing any code in keypress event of windows form there should not be any control on the form then its keypress will be fired, now just place a button control u will see form's key pressed is not getting fired.

It seems focus issue.Can anyone advice.

In Windows applications, if there is ANY control on a form that CAN receive the focus it does, and the form does not. You are correct, it is a focus issue, and it was designed that way.

Set the Form's KeyPreview property to true, and it's KeyPress event will fire before the active control's KeyPress.

static class in C# can accept serialization attribute.
like

[Serializable]
static class MyStatic
{
    static MyStatic()
    {

    }
}

compiler will not give error.
But my question is can i serialize static class.if so how i can do?

You can't serialize a class, only an instance. An instance of that class would be serializable, but that is quite useless, as you can't create an instance of the class.

I'm not sure if it's an oversight in the design that a static class can be serializable, or if it's intentional. It shouldn't cause any problem anyway.

I don't think the AttributeUsage attribute provides a way to specify that an attribute can be applied only to non-static classes. That's probably why Serializable can be applied to any class.

but my xml file is an XmlTextReader that has been loaded from an sql server database

I have used NDoc to create the MSDN format help files for my code, and I saved the file it created,but there is a problem. How can I view the file if I don't have the NDoc?I mean is it possible to view the file on a system which NDoc hasn't been setup on it?Or is it possible to save it with another extension, rather than .ndoc?

The .ndoc file is just something specific to NDoc. It doesn't have your documentation in it. You have to compile the NDoc documentation. It will build either a .chm or a whole directory full of html, depending on your settings (which are stored in the .ndoc file).

That was good enough.Thanks.But I couldn't find the compile item.I only could find the build item,and when I build it with "MSDN Documentation Type", it doesn't create that .chm file. I have to build it again with "HTML Documentation Type" so that the directory and the .chm file you mentioned being created.I mean I have to build it with both kind of "Documentation Type" to get the .chm file,not only the "MSDN Documentation Type".Is it the correct way to get that file?

Actually, the chm is created for the HTML documentation type. It sounds weird but a chm is a bunch of html files compressed together. The other version (it was "Web" in .net 1.1) is for just the html files.

I am trying to call a procedure (INSERTFIX_ORDERS_SUMMARY)in an Oracle 9i database and I am using .Net Framework 2.0 and the Enterprise Library January 2006 version, and I am always getting the following exception:

ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'INSERTFIX_ORDERS_SUMMARY'
ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored

Could anyone give me a hint about the cause of this exception cause I searched a lot and revised the code and I could find nothing is wrong so far.

here the problem is my machine throughs an error that destination machine rejected the connection., and then i checked my machine and found that my machine's port 25 is not responding ... can you tell me the possible reason.
There is no firewall, SMTP Server is running,IIS is running,I have checked the norton settings, everything is fine.. i dont know you the port 25 is not responding

I have a UserControl in my application and the context help does not work for it (when i click on the help button (?) of the parent form and then i click my UserControl, the HelpRequested event is not raised).

How can I set the values for items that i've added in a comboBox? I've tryed this:

comboBox1.Items.Add("Item1");
comboBox1.SelectedItem = "Item1";
comboBox1.SelectedValue = 5;

but it doesn't work.

Hi,

what I normally do is that i create a class that will represent an item in the combobox. The combobox uses the ToString() method if you add an object to it. So i propose something like this for you:

        public override ToString() {<br />
           return this.sText;<br />

}<br />

now you can do something like this:

  comboBox1.Items.Add(new ComboBoxItem("Item1", 5));<br />

and to retrieve the selected value you do that:

   int iSelectedValue = ( (ComboBoxItem) (comboBox1.SelectedItem)).Value<br />
