Hello Friends
I want to make a windows application that can check any website rank according to the keyword on any of the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
Can any one help me how can i start..
i got a link that is of web application i tried it to convert into C# windows application but i am unable to do that..

I have a buffer object which is basically just an array of Int32s - is there an easy/fast way to write the whole buffer at once to disk in C#? Or, for that matter, to a SQL Server Blob?

m using user control contains a grid
when cellvaluechanges event rais i want to rais an event in the form that have this user control,
how can i do that, i tryed set the grid to public but it didnt solve the problem ,
So any body can help me with it

It's a bad idea. You have to declare an event in the user control, handle the cell changed event in the user control and fire the user controls event. Your form should handle the event fired by user control.

Hello,
I am working on win forms C#.net and i use AppUpdater to update my version. i Use ServerManifest check option for updating. i have a xml file on server to indicate version and folder to download. i have given all permission from IIS to my folder still i get error as
Auto update Failed: with network error the remote server returned an error :(403)Forbidden.
TO correct try rebooting or relaunching application.
Some suggestions please. thanks in advance

When creating .NET Assembly for COm Usage manualy, there are many steps:
1. compile the type library you have created through C# compiler
2. use the type library exporter utility.
3. you need to create a resource script for your type library using the
command IDR_TYPELIB1 typelib "YourLibrary.tlb"
4. you need to recompile the type library with the new resource file added
i coudn't understand step number 3. what is the necessity of creating the
resource script, and is it done automatically when using visual studio to
expose the assembly and do the job for you.

Im working in .net for last 2 years and I hope I have pretty good Knowledge in C# with ASP .Net technology(.Net Framework 2.0). So I have decided to prepare for Microsoft certifications(MCTS-Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist).

I used the MS self paced learning books, which are absolutely rubbish so I can't recommend them, but I passed no problem so they were obviously enough. I'm not sure the certs are that valuable any more, I probably wouldn't have done them if it wasn't for my company paying because they wanted the points in the MS partner program.

i've developed the windows application with C#.NET 2008 on WinXP SP2 and i need to not allow any keyboard input(except mouse) within my application.
How can i do this ?

You shouldn't do this. What about people who don't like using mice.
Why are you trying to disable the keyboard?

You can use e.SuppressKeyPress = true in KeyDown event.

How can I show the records related to the checked rows in the grid?
Well to understand my point let's take a example,suppose there is grid showing User names if I checked four user names among ten and I want to show there details like address,email id etc in another grid on another page on a button click.These user details are stored in another table.
How can I pass multiple checked values to sql server db and get back multiple results???
