NUnit is currently at version 2.2.8! It has been compatible with .NET 2.0 since at least v2.2.5.

Google around. There is no set in stone way to do test plans. It varies from organization to organization, or team to team.

For the past few months we've been working on updating our Visual Lint[^] add-in product to add support for Visual Studio 6.0.
That process is now at an advanced stage (see An update on Visual Studio 6.0 support in Visual Lint[^]), and as a consequence we are looking for developers to assist us in proving the new functionality.
If you are using PC-Lint 7.50 or 8.00 with Visual Studio 6.0 under Windows 2000 or later and are in the position to help us to verify the performance of Visual Lint on that platform, we'd like to hear from you.
Anyone who participates will have access to this version of the product well before it becomes available on the open market, and will also of course have the opportunity to suggest changes and enhancements as the product develops. There is no-cost or sales committment required; all we ask is that a non-disclosure agreement be signed between the tester and ourselves since our testers have access to internal product information.

Hello everyone,
I have a program that is almost finished. I am stuck at one point, and don't know how to get past this. I was wondering if anyone could take a look at my code and give me some pointers.
A little bit about me: I am not a programmer, but like to try out my luck. I am making a pocket pc program for the medical field (I'm a physician), which basically shows radiological images. Since I don't have the sources for the SQL Server CE stuff, I programmed this in C# and used an XML file as my database. I know a lot of you would probably think this is not wise, but my limited programming skills made me go in this direction.
So please, if you could help me out, I would most definitely appreciate it. I can email you the files (programming in Visual C#).

I'm looking for a good tool that can effectively be used for project tracking. I started off by using color-coded tables in Excel (gree=on track, red=in danger,..), but that takes a lot of manual work and it's hard to keep things in sync. I moved on to MS Project, but that hasn't worked out to well for me either: it's a great tool, and does a lot of things, but it is also very generic and lacks of all the functionality that I need for tracking my assets and the work done on them.
We have started to develop an in-house tool, but I'm afraid that is not the right way to go, as it will involve lot's f maintenance and it will end up costing more then buying an out-of-the-box solution.
Any recommendation?
What are you guys using for tracking your project?

We've been using the Microsoft Team Foundation Server since it's beta release and have been very happy with it. On the surface it appears to be somewhat expensive, but when you factor in the costs of building and maintaining your own system it is much less expensive.
There is a free 180 day trial, fully functional, from Microsoft. It may be worth your time to give it a try.

I am starting a project to develop Software Defined Radio
Where i have to take an appropriate real time Rf signal as an input to the soundcard. Read the digitized samples. Perform Demodulation and detection by means of own algorithms or to use audio processing APIs. And then playing it....
any body interested please reply

Hi there everyone! I'm not specifically looking for help on "a project." I am more looking for a partner to program with, making a product from start to finish.
Team name: No name at the moment.

Brief description:
I have recently began looking into extreme programming and think it would be very exciting to work with someone on some type of application (just a small application) using extreme programming techniques.
I have no project in mind at the moment, and would love to speak with potentials on what interests them, what they feel they are capable of, and so on.
Target aim:
I believe strongly in open source, so I would be hoping to release as open source. The main aim of this project is (as selfish as it sounds) to teach myself and apply extreme programming, and hopefully enlighten other people along the way.
Compensation:
It's all freeware so I'm afraid I can't offer anything.
Technology:
.NET framework 2.0 - Language is negotiable between C#, boo and vb.net (that order is my preference).
Talent needed
I'm looking for people who have the following:
- Knowledge of extreme programming principles: test driven development, user stories, DRY, refactoring and so on.
- Strong knowledge of the .NET framework
- Moderate experience with design patterns
- Beliefs in readable code!
Also, it would be nice if your from the UK or have good English because I wouldn't mind discussing things other Skype. That is, however, just a nice-ety!

It's just myself at the moment, so I'll give you a bit of background. I'm a 16 year old programmer from the UK with a passion for readable, organised code. I have had tendancies to over complicate code in the past, abstracting out too much etc so I'm trying to discipline myself new techniques that should make me a better programmer.
I have been programming since the age of around 12, but my strong programming really started around 14. I've been doing C# and .NET for about 1 and half years and have great interests in it. I consider myself a reasonably strong programmer, certainly around or above average for those my age.

I'd be really gratefull if anyone would test my app before I release it to Betanews. It's an outlook app, sits on your desktop and monitors your tasks and calendar. I think I got all the bugs out the otherday but can never be to carefull.
The really cool thing is the UI is 100% customizable via XHTML and CSS...

Hello everyone! 
Alright... I want to experiment some with SDL[^], does anyone know of a good idea for a game? 
It's gotta be a 2D, tile-based game, and I was thinking this idea would be awesome:
A game in which many people connect to a server, and there will be 2 game modes:
1. All against one: At the start of the game, one player will be randomly chosen, and then all of the other players have to "catch" that player, and whoever catches him, becomes the new chosen one, and everyone has to catch him/her. (Her? Do girls even play games?  ) At the end of the game (specified time limit in the server), the player who catches more gets more points.
2. One against all: Same as above, one player gets chosen randomly, but then, s/he has to catch any of the other players, and whoever gets caught, has to catch the rest. At the end of the game, the player that gets caught less times will have more points.
Sounds fun? Any additions?
