Chris has a number of reasons for that, but I cannot be arsed to look for the post he made about it right now (going to bed soon). From what I remember, bots index these links, and they show up in search results. They also give spammers more visibility in those results because of the keywords in the title.
Just use the URL itself as the text, or something like 'Message' or 'Messages' (for the user's message list). I use the second way myself. I also use 'Luser' to link to the (l)user account.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?

I think this is a planned operation going on since morning. They have been regularly opening different accounts and posting such sh*ts.
I think Original Griff put up a nice thought of having some Coding captcha for opening account, so that somewhat these kinda spammers be avoided.
Just a thought.

And what if the account are opened by humans and then used with bots?
Besides, copy + paste is not so difficult, so once the message is done...

I have taken a look in the revisions. The first version was from a CP-Editor. I guess the user tried to fool the system getting it posted by someone of the staff (when they click publish, contributions get through without moderation).
So I guess: We nuked the first one. He posted somewhere else and someone from CP brought it back from Limbo

That would explain the situation, good find! I was feeling somewhat similar as Bill Murray in Groundhog Day[^]

Nah, it happens. Is the same with changes of cathegory, when the Editor has a "playing day" then it doesn't keep the current cathegory, so when any Editor bypassing moderation make some changes, the previous Tip/Trick becomes magically an article and we start another time
