Is this a windows supplied API? or did it come with the devices?
Also, is there documentation for it?
thanks

It came with the device, and comes with documentation on it, but not how the underlying DLL itself works.

Alright, all you indian guys listen-the-f***-up. If you need drivers for your machine, YOU HAVE TO KNOW SPECIFICS. Chances are that you will need to know the brand and model number of your MOTHERBOARD, especially if you have onboard hardware like sound cards, video, and ethernet. Once you find out what motherboard you have, chances are pretty good that you'll be able to use google to find your drivers.
WE CANNOT HELP YOU BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW THE INFORMATION I DESCRIBED ABOVE, SO STOP ASKING.
Here's the super-secret url for google - http://www.google.com

No, because a processor does not dictate the drivers to use. The sound card in your machine does. Without knowing that, your guess is as good as ours.
The sound card can be just that, a seperate card you have to plug into a slot, or it can be built onto the motherboard, in which case, you'll have to get out the manual on it or consult the manufacturers website for the specs on the sound chip being used.

please let us know the details of the make of your motherboard as well if it is having built in or additional Sound Card. Please stop making a fool of yourself by posting half cooked informations.
please checkout what he has written in the thread below which is just a few above yours...

Please have some common sense. Nobody here would be able to assume the details on their own. you must give them by yourselves. and one more thing. Do some homework atleast before coming here. Google the problem first then resort to us.

Do u still have the manual to the mobo? It might tell the Key combination to load up BIOS beside the Del key. Does Windows still boot up? Do u see anything on the screen. I would check all these things.

Are you somehow impaired? Is it too much to expect people NOT to use texting abbreviations?

Hello.
I'm trying to figure out how to determine on which disk is Windows installed. I need to do this so that I can get additional infos afterwards about it, like Model Number, Serial Number, etc.
I don't need the partition letter (C:, etc), that's easy to get, but on which disk that partition is located (Primary Master (\\.\PhysicalDrive0), Primary Slave (\\.\PhysicalDrive1), etc).
Also, I don't want to use WMI.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

Hi,
Anyone have any idea where I can find these monitors. I am looking for these kind for a long time, but none of them are VGA compatible (only RCA). I want a VGA display anywhere between 3" to 4.5" LCD.
thanks,

THanks for the info. I have seen those lilliput "monitors", their size is perfect for my applicaiton, but I need a VGA monitor while lilliput has RCA monitors...I need something that we can just plug into the VGA output of PC/Laptop or even to USB/Firwire output like the ones dontronics has, but the resolution is not that great for dontronics.

Can't you just add a VGC-RCA adapter to your hardware design?

Yeh.... thts not at all a prob for me... but my Boss likes just plug 'n play and not to hassle around with the extra stuff to carry along.... He believes someone somewhere should have made such kind of VGA monitors as he is seeing all those high resolution TFT LCDs tht we get in new mobile phones (ofcourse they are not VGA type).

There were monitors on that page that had VGA inputs, but none of them are 5-inch.

Hi,
Can anyone please let us know how can we find the function number of the nework adapter without using device drivers?
Is it possible?
In MSDN (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/253232) the method given tells us to query the driver for it. We dont want to go for drivers.
Is there any other method available?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Manasi
