Hi,
When I try to connect my Reliance phone with my PC's com port. It got installed. And when I try to login, it gives me error as, 692 - Hardware failure.
Any luck.

Maybe they don't have google in India. Maybe if their national infrastructure wasn't consumed with designing a better mud hut, the international exchange rate of elephants' teeth and shiney rocks, or teaching the entire population to say "Hello, my name is Larry, and I'm happy to help you" without an accent, they could get google.

I have tried, but i am not satisfied with those results. I have requested here to get exact and better solution. Google gives everything, then what is the reason for forums, forum is to discuss problem in detail.

YOU'RE going to have to go through those Google results and find the YOURSELF! It's impossible for anyone here to know exactly what's causing your problem because none of use can see your phone, it's setup, the cable your using, software, NOTHING!

YOU have to do the work. CodeProject, or any other forum for that matter, can only suggest a direction to go in. You got your directions - now get busy and fix your own problem.

I currently multiboot Vista and Server 2008 beta 3, I have a ATI 9550 graphics adaptor, seeing as that there are not drivers at ATI for Server 2008, I decided to use the Vista drivers. The install went OK, but the problem is that Server 2008 does not recognize the proper resolution rates. I can get 1440x900 32dpi in Vista but only 1440x900 16dpi in Server 2008, even when I had XP on this machine I got 32dpi.
So my question is, does Server 2008 handle drivers that much more different then Vista?
There's a gecko in my pocket but I think it's dead!

Hi guys.
I have a problem with an antivirus server.Its not deploying the anti-virus and most of the clients dont check back onto the server.We have tried to format and reinstall the server but then its worse.
Any idea on what I can do to make sure the other machines check back with the server.
Please guys, this is straining us, someone help!!

Contact the support line of your virus software manufacturer. It's the best source of information your going to get with this.
Besides, you never said anything about which software you're using.

No my friend.The anti-virus is working very well, its just the machines are not speaking to each other for some reason.
It must be a hardware problem rather than software.

On all these machines at the same time? Not likely. Unless, of course, the machines can't talk to any server, like downloading web pages...
Think again. If all these machines virus updaters won't contact the udpate server, and it's the only network app that has a problem, what's the most likely cause? A problem with the configuration of the updater?

No Dave, its only twelve machines that check back to the server.The rest dont.They can talk to the other servers, but just this one.Well, it couldn't be the configurations with the updater if some machines are checking back.We even tried to compare the configurations themselves but everything seemed to be Ok.
Any more ideas???

In C++, call GetLogicalDrives or GetLogicalDriveStrings to find out the drive letters that are in use. You can then use GetDriveFreeSpaceEx to find out how much disk space is free.
A complication is that in Windows 2000 and later, a volume can be mounted below another path and may not have a separate drive letter. If you decide to handle this, use FindFirstVolumeMountPoint etc.
From C# and VB, if using .NET 2.0, use System.IO.DriveInfo.GetDrives to find out the drives available, and the properties of the returned DriveInfo objects to determine the free space available. For .NET 1.x, you have to either P/Invoke the C++ APIs mentioned above, or use WMI via the System.Management namespace to look for Win32_LogicalDisk objects.

Occasionally while running a game the system freezes up for about ten seconds, then makes this horrible skipping, buzzing sound for about five seconds, and then resumes running again. Sometimes it happens every ten minutes or so, other times it happens constantly and the game is unplayable. I thought it was a software problem originally, like maybe the game wasn't installed right, but it's happening on every game I have, particularly 3D games. So I'm assuming it's my GeForce card that's the culprit.
I've upated the GeForce drivers and DirectX and reinstalled the games in question. I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem. Someone I talked to suggested the powersupply might be failing, not getting enough juice to the graphics card, but wouldn't that just shut the whole system down? The only other option is a conflict with certain drivers working together somehow. Maybe my graphics card doesn't like my sound card or something.
I'm just wondering if this has happened to others, and what they did to fix it. Thanks for your help, folks.

I'm assuming that it's not just your drive spinning faster, which usually happens during rapid file access and playing games. So it may just be a bad drive. My CD-Drive acts up occasionally and does the same thing, but it runs fine otherwise. If it's not slowing anything down or causing problems, then it's probably no big deal. But don't take a chance. Try running a hard drive diagnostic tool (one is included with your BIOS), and then see if there's anything wrong.

Yes, it would cause the system to crash and other hardware to act up also.

If the measures suggested before do not fix the problem, have an electrician measure your mains. The problems might be related to brownouts or other voltage or waveform problems.
If you don't want to pay an electrician, try to rent a dual-conversion UPS (or maybe another true-online UPS design) and see if the problem persists.
Other than that, check your hardware for signs of failure (blown capacitors, cracks, visible tension on PCBs).

Hi..
I have the MCP certificate in developing asp.net using visual C#.In my university I studied the Java as an object oriented language only(without learning how to make business project that could be needed by a company).I have a desire to learn USB port programming and mobile programming.
May you learn me how to find trusted training centers for each of the fields I mentioned above so I can reach the second level in these fields.

Microsoft doesn't offer any courses on USB driver development. This kernel level drivers are something you're going to have to learn on your own or through a third party.
All you have to do is Google for "windows driver development course".
