Microsoft is continuing to move forward with Windows 10 which aims to draw customers from the business world that are still running Windows 7. "No retreat, no surrender."

They can have my Windows 7 when they pry it from my cold dead hard drive.

Windows 8.1 is really nice. I'm sure you'll like it. I'm serious.
This has been a troll brought to you by the letter 'T' and the number 1337.
I really do like Windows 8.1. It's like a much better version of Windows 7. Honestly.
If you reply, then I own you!!

Windows 8.1 is actually pretty good and Windows 10 is even better.
Really, like newton.saber said, they're an even better version of Windows 7.

Maybe after adding a start menu replacement, but not before...

Windows 10 will and does have a start menu "replacement" somewhat similar in form to that of Windows 7, but with some modern "enhancements" ( ). Windows 8.1, not so much. But, if you're willing to see it that way, the Windows 8/8.1 start screen is that menu.

Microsoft and R are poised to enter a mutually beneficial relationship: Microsoft needs R's data science chops, while R needs Microsoft’s ease of use. Slap a 'Visual' in front of it. Bam. Done. Hit the showers.

Codacy, a Lisbon-based code analysis startup, has revealed that its software identified over a billion coding errors last year, resulting in hundreds of billions of dollars in “technical debt”. Yeah. Sorry. That was me. I'll try harder next year.

Sadly, that seems to the majority of "issues" these tools discover in my code, and any real errors get buried in the number of false positives.
I know these can be turned off, but I seem to be continually fighting with the tools, rather than dealing with real issues.

We are glad you are enjoying our free "Community Edition;" the option you mention is available with our "Enterprise" edition. May one of our sales representatives contact you to discuss how we can assist your company in saving time and money ?

Does the Enterprise license include a debate with the person who defined rules for the analysis engine?

...and sadly, because it doesn't analyze C# code, it's rather useless.
