The EU, Parliament, and Council negotiators have agreed to make USB-C the charging standard for a variety of electronics by autumn 2024. Dongles incoming!

The lack of a USB-A port is my biggest complaint with my relatively new Dell laptop. So my mouse needs an external USB hub. Which means no mouse during a power outage, just the touchpad. Which is a total buttpain to use.

Get a smaller host powered hub instead of a big one that needs an external power brick.
Alternately get an UPS so brief outages don't thrash your setup by causing external displays to go dark.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I have used a lot the mousepad due to working near the machine without table and so on... and it is not that bad (as long as the touchpad is qualitative decent of course)

Just as a generic comment. If you hardly use it, you have to look up how to do various mouse actions every time you're stuck with it.

And yes, of course there are important icons to update first.

An agile plan is not the same as a waterfall plan, just like an agile roadmap is not the same as a traditional roadmap. You mean we have to plan further than this sprint?

Let me organize a meeting to discuss that.

This summarises all that is wrong with many developers' practices.

Agile isn't about planning. It's about managing/controlling developers.

Some folks try to make progress on the current status quo by arguing that, since human error is inevitable (people make mistakes!), it should be the beginning of the investigation, rather than the end. It's too hard to try

In an infinite Universe, all paths, no matter how improbable, will eventually be explored. Given that some of these paths are "wrong", Universal avoidance of error is impossible.
Only in a finite Universe would it be possible (though not probable) to completely avoid error.

Light Pattern is a programming language where one communicates with the computer through photographs instead of text. What. The. (and I mean this with all due respect) Elephant?
"The language is unusual in that it's nearly impossible to write the same program exactly the same way more than once; even when the program functions identically, the photos that make up the source code will be different every time a program is constructed." <-- yeah, I'll get on converting Word over to using it right away.
Of course then you'd have to use photos of a PowerPoint slideshow containing the images, of course.
