Now it is time to close the gap between other hardware (and software) and the battery...
As today the largest problem that stands in the way of minification is battery - smartphones and wearables are dry out battery at supersonic speed...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

How do you present a clever bit of organization? "Surprise and fear!"

The most important skill in probably any profession (assuming you know at least a little about what you're doing) is communication.
And communication is also the single most important skill in personal life too.
To bad it's also the single hardest skill to master
But I guess organizing your code is pretty important too.
Good luck explaining that to management though

To a great extent the act of coding is one of organization. Refactoring. Simplifying.
The most important skill in software development is not the act of coding. It's the act of designing such that the coding essentially falls out of the architecture.
Screw refactoring and all that. If you're refactoring, you did the design wrong to begin with (if you even did any design.)

We're still working on finishing VS 2015 RTM, but we're definitely done with adding new features, so we can publish final feature tables. "Yeah, we're living in in a modern world"

Is anyone up to getting the current status of GCC/Clang and making a comparison chart? The one for VS2013 was ugly. I suspect the new one will look a lot better, but don't really know where the other two compiler teams are at present.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Here's a bit of CLang's stats[^]. Looks like 3.6 seems pretty compliant. But yeah, a comparison chart might be nice.

The only real question there I have is what the yellow color coding means. Is that partial/buggy/etc implementation, or does it just mean that the page hasn't been updated since 3.5 was the current release version.

Yes, Microsoft is giving Windows away for free to people who don't technically qualify for the upgrade. That's a good deal, but it's not that big a deal. Here's why. Good news for you Windows for Workgroups users

The Register has a different opinion in today's e-mail update: [^] ?
"Microsoft has been forced to quietly edit a misleading blog post that seemed to suggest that anyone could get their mitts on Windows 10 for free – if they first installed a test version of Redmond's upcoming operating system for PCs."

Hah. Always use a TimeSpan rather than incrementing. Leap year and all that.
