Regardless of how you feel about XAML, you'll have a very hard job convincing me it's the best it can be. Beyond the pronunciation of it

I'm sure it will be better in JSON.

Lacey's article came to a stop before he addressed his topic. Lots of kvetching about the state of XAML, but nothing about what he'd like to see done about the problem.
He also missed the fundamental problem that XAML faces now, and that it is an XML application. The cool kids all poo-poo XML, citing JSON as the cat's ass.

I thought XAML was dead. I guess it's used for cross-platform development??? If it's not dead, it should be! Where's the garlic and wooden stake?

We’ve heard feedback from developers asking for a markdown editor in Visual Studio. With the recent preview of Visual Studio 17.5, we’ve brought markdown editing to the IDE! _**Finally**_

yeah, but which flavor of markdown is supported? I drives me nuts how everyone implements different ways of doing things like nested lists, what type of code is this code block, etc. Thus, I detest markdown. Syntax like double-space at the end of a line to insert a line break? Give me a break! Why we even have this "standard" is beyond me when there's decent HTML editors out there and at least HTML is more of a standard than markdown.

With Cadl, you can write a 500-line OpenAPI definition in 50 lines of code. It’s a logical way for architects and developers to construct and constrain APIs. It's an API API

Well, not that shocked.

Easy:
if the engineers are taken vacations, productivity --> really low
If not... it will depends a lot on, are they working alone? Is production running? Is there any boss around? Do the engineer really like what he does? How likely is it, that you get caught if you dream a bit during the day?

My company has a use it or lose it policy on PTO (Paid Time Off). So everyone uses it all up in December. My last day is Thursday this week, but there are other members of my team that were done for the year 2 weeks ago.
If they allowed carry over, there would be more of us working right now.
Yes, I did use a bunch during the year, next year I will be using more. We're headed to Scotland and Ireland for 2 weeks. The wife wants to see castles. So any CPians, stay off the roads during the month of June, we'll be driving in a mirror universe. Fair warning.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.
