I'm quite sure that they don't do the exam that way.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

California law requies a cause of death on death certificates. When my 94 (or was is 95) year-old grandma died, it said something like; pneumonia complications due to lung cancer. The doctor told my dad to ignore that and hat everyone over 70 has cancer and she died of old age. (Especially since while there was cancer in her lungs, nobody had noticed until the autopsy.)

I "like" how 98% is now considered near-perfect. Reduce that to ~90% and I had near-perfect grades in high school.

Many people have found themselves working remotely from home as a result of the pandemic, forcing them to adjust to a new workflow that, in many cases, involves taking over the kitchen table or bedroom closet. Maybe put some cubicle walls in there so you feel at home?

Yes, put in a proper office because the Government can't tax your kitchen table so much.

I make sure I don't flush my toilet, constantly run out of bathroom soap, have neighbors steal food from my refrigerator, sit on my couch several times a day making empty promises, randomly ask myself the same question....

Face masks are one of the best defenses against the spread of COVID-19, but their growing adoption is having a second, unintended effect: breaking facial recognition algorithms. "Who was that masked man?"

What we need are face masks with holes in them.

I don't precisely like Musk, but I partially share some of his concern...
Seeing how much are we relying in the computers / software for critical things (military, health system, government stuff...) and seeing the detriment of quality over benefits...
we are surely going to have problems of some kind due to computers / algorithms / something tech-related, that's something a bit more plausible than being overtaken by an AI.
Not because we would not be overtaken by an AI, it is just that I really doubt we will have a true working AI in the next generation. But IF it comes, then when it comes... we will have very few chances.
